Jobs that high school students could do are given to adults without work and to old people, because usually they have much more experience in the working industry, or simply because they're older and have more time throughout the day. Maybe some employers also have prejudices against young people and their working standards. Sowas würde ich schreiben

Older peolpe usually are said to work harder and better than youngsters, and high school students probably just need the money but aren't willing to work hard for it, because they're also not used to it.
