My name is Alfie and I am in my final year at The University of York studying English/History. I am an enthusiastic and pragmatic individual who plans and conducts lessons wholly based around the needs of the student. For me, tutoring can only be effective if a lesson goes at a pace comfortable with the student so they both feel confident and absorb the information more effectively. I am passionate about working with young people and being a positive role model for them to follow. When tutoring with me, students will feel safe and free to ask any questions without any judgement. I have a holistic tutoring style in which I consider how a student learns best, how they approach their studies and how their concentration levels affect their revision. With my help, I can create a plan which best supports your child and will ensure that they are feeling absolutely confident in their studies!
