Bonjour !!! Je m'appelle Lorena Porras. Je me considère une personne qui a le sens de l'écoute, organisé, créative, patiente, dynamique, sociable et responsable. Je donne des cours à des étudiants de tout âge et de tout niveau. Je suis spécialiste des cours des langues comme l'espagnol, l'anglais et le français (FLE). Je suis également professeure d'histoire et géographie. Je suis impatiente de transmettre mes connaissances à mes nouveaux élèves et de les aider à améliorer leur niveau. J'ai une Licence en Sciences Economiques (Bac +3). Je suis également diplômée d'un Master 1 Management Stratégique ainsi que du Master 2 Finance d'entreprise, à la Toulouse School of Management, TSM de Toulouse. J'ai plus de 8 ans d'expérience en Finance, Audit et Contrôle de Gestion dans diverses entreprises : en France et à l'international. J'ai également une forte expérience pédagogique. J'ai été professeure de Gestion et de langues étrangères au Pérou (anglais et français). J'ai deux ans d'expérience comme professeure particulière sur la plateforme GoStudent.

Hi, I’m Elaine Bereña, and I specialize in teaching Mathematics. My teaching journey began as part of my return of service for the scholarship I received during my college years. During that time, I taught various Math subjects, including General Mathematics, Pre-Calculus, Basic Calculus, and Statistics and Probability. In addition to my classroom experience, I also provided tutoring services for college students in higher-level mathematics courses, such as Calculus. Currently, I work as a freelance chat-based tutor, continuing to support students with their learning needs in Mathematics. The satisfaction I feel when a student grasps a challenging concept is incredibly rewarding. I take great pride in contributing to each student’s academic growth, and I view teaching as a reciprocal experience—helping students develop while constantly learning and evolving myself. As an educator, I am passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. My goal is to make students feel comfortable and confident, encouraging them to share their hobbies, interests, and personal experiences. I incorporate these elements into lessons and practice problems, making the learning process more relatable, enjoyable, and aligned with their unique passions. I hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Batangas State University – The National Engineering University in the Philippines. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in both teaching and the Electrical Engineering industry, with a particular focus on renewable energy. My career spans various roles in engineering, project management, strategic planning, and teaching, equipping me with a versatile skill set and a deep understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of the field. In addition to my technical expertise, I am passionate about bridging the gap between theory and real-world applications, ensuring that students not only develop strong academic foundations but also acquire the practical skills and insights needed to excel in their careers. I believe in providing students with a well-rounded learning experience that prepares them for the dynamic challenges of the engineering world, particularly in emerging sectors like renewable energy. Me apasiona la enseñanza de lenguas y es por ello, que me gustaría seguir desarrollándome personalmente y profesionalmente. Me considero una persona paciente, responsable y dinámica. Me gusta que mis alumnos aprendan conmigo y se diviertan y aprender también de ellos. Hablo francés. Imparto clases en Gostudent desde enero de 2022. A alumnos de todos los niveles y edades. Actuellement, je traduis espagnol-français, français-espagnol et français-espagnol.
