Hello! I’m Inuri Basnayake. I am a dedicated and energetic online mathematics tutor with more than two years of experience teaching students through international platforms, including Third Space Global. I help learners strengthen their math skills using a clear, step-by-step approach, friendly guidance and plenty of practice to build real confidence. With a strong science and research background, I teach math logically and patiently, making complex ideas easy to understand. I focus on creating lessons that are interactive, encouraging and enjoyable, helping every student feel supported and motivated throughout their learning journey. Outside of teaching, I love watching movies and TV series, travelling around the country and spending time with my friends. (Hons) in Medical Laboratory Science with a Second-Class Upper Division from General Sir John Kotelawela Defence University, Sri Lanka, where I gained strong analytical, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills that greatly enhance my ability to teach mathematics effectively. I am also currently pursuing my master’s degree at the University of Kelaniya, further strengthening my academic background and demonstrating my commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. With this solid educational foundation, I am well-equipped to guide students with clarity, accuracy and confidence. In addition, I have earned a TEFL certification and the EF SET English Certificate, enabling me to teach students from diverse international backgrounds in clear and fluent English. With extensive experience tutoring global learners through well-known online education platforms, I specialize in delivering structured explanations, personalized support and student-focused teaching methods. My goal is to make learning smooth, enjoyable and effective, helping every child build strong mathematical skills and genuine confidence in their abilities.

Ich bin davon überzeugt, dass man auch in Mathe, Statistik, Physik und BWL jede Menge Spaß haben kann. Ja, du hast richtig gehört: Spaß! Und das sage ich nicht nur so daher, sondern aus eigener Erfahrung. Ich bin nämlich ein totaler Outdoor-Fan. Klettern, Snowboarden, Gleitschirmfliegen oder Wandern – ich bin für alles zu haben. Und das Beste daran? Viele der Dinge, die ich beim Sport erlebe, lassen sich auf meine Fächer übertragen. Das klingt jetzt vielleicht ein bisschen abstrakt, aber keine Sorge, ich werde dir jede Menge Beispiele geben, die dir das Ganze anschaulich machen. Ich habe schon vielen Schülern geholfen, die sich genauso gefühlt haben wie du. Und glaub mir, wenn du erstmal merkst, dass Mathe und Co. gar nicht so schlimm sind, wirst du dich wundern, wie schnell du Fortschritte machst. Gemeinsam werden wir das schaffen! Aber keine Angst, ich bin nicht der Typ, der dich stundenlang mit Formeln und Aufgaben quält. Im Gegenteil, ich bin davon überzeugt, dass man am besten lernt, wenn man Spaß dabei hat. Deshalb werde ich dir viele praxisnahe Beispiele geben, die dir helfen werden, den Sinn hinter den Aufgaben zu verstehen. I hold a B.S. in Mathematics, a Post-Baccalaureate in Teacher Education major in Mathematics, and am pursuing an Master's in Education major in Mathematics.
