Hi, I’m Elijah, and I’m passionate about making learning both enjoyable and rewarding. I love breaking down complex concepts in math and English into simple, easy-to-understand steps, helping students build confidence and a strong foundation. My approach is to make both subjects relatable, so they feel less like a challenge and more like a fun puzzle to solve. I believe that everyone can excel when given the right tools and support. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in University of Pangasinan and am working toward my professional license. My studies have provided me with a strong foundation in both mathematics and English, and I’ve seen how skills in one area can enhance understanding in the other. My background in engineering has helped me develop problem-solving skills that I apply in tutoring math, making complex concepts easier to grasp. I help students build confidence and skills in both math and English, enabling them to tackle challenges with clarity. In a supportive environment, I encourage questions, growth at their own pace, and the discovery of connections in their learning.

I teach senior high school mathematics at all levels, from foundational to advanced. With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.

Ich lege großen Wert darauf, erst ein fundamentales Verständnis der Grundideen eines Themas zu etablieren und dann weiter darauf aufzubauen. Dafür bin ich gewillt auch mal weiter auszuholen. Studierte Physik, erst an der TU München und nebenbei dort als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an einem Lehrstuhl für X-Ray Telescopy, dann an die LFU Innsbruck gewechselt. Jetzt seit 3 Jahren Staatsbeamter, seit Sommer 2023 Inspektor für Natur- und Artenschutzrecht im Rahmen von Erneuerbaren Energie-Projekten bei der Regierung von Oberbayern

I earned my degree which is Bachelors in Secondary Education major in General Science from Bukidnon State University, where I developed a strong foundation in both teaching and my subject area. My academic journey has been enriched through hands-on experiences, including my internship at Bukidnon National High School and volunteering with Education for Interdependent World (EDIW). and currently I am expanding my knowledge and specialties by taking my masters degree in the same university. These opportunities have shaped me into the dedicated and enthusiastic educator I am today.
