Hi! I am Lyka Anne I. Gabuat, I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education degree, specializing in Teaching Mathematics to middle school and high school students. For 6 years, I have taught math courses to senior high school students, specifically Calculus, Statistics and Probabilities and General Mathematics. I also have a short but extensive experience teaching IB, A-level and IGCSE math’ through an after-school program in China. At present, I am an online private tutor catering students who are struggling in mathematics. At present, I’m a freelance private math tutor. I like to see my students have fun as they learn new ideas and concepts. I believe that every student is unique, and it's our responsibility as educators to nurture their individual strengths and help them reach their full potential. I graduated from University of Baguio, Philippines last may of 2016 and got my teaching license the same year. I worked in the same University from August 2016 - December 2022 as Senior High School math teacher. I went to China in the following year to tutor International students and come back for personal reasons. At the moment, I'm a freelance Math tutor catering primary school to senior high school students thru online and face-to-face platform. I am also a unit earner (25 units) in Masters in Education Major in Mathematics. In addition, I have B2 level Certificate in International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

Fanatique des films d'horreur et d'épouvante, mais également de Marvel et DC et aussi de séries. J'ai longtemps fais du tennis et du ski, j'adore l'art et les musée. Assez manuelle j'ai toujours travaillé avec des couleurs dans mes cours pour m'aidée et mettre de l'ordre dans mes idées. J'ai toujours essayée de simplifier et décrypter les science à mon entourage et mes étudiants pour les rendre accessible a tous. J'ai beaucoup de patience, ce qui est assez utile pour les arts créatifs que je pratique. Ayant eu des difficultés dans mes études, j'ai du mettre au point des astuces pour m'aider dans le travail. Cela m'a été très utile lors de mes premiers cours de soutiens avec des élèves ayant de DYS en tous genre. J'ai eu une scolarité assez classique avec un bac S. J'ai aussi été déscolarisée quelque moi au lycée et j'ai appris à me débrouiller seule avec le cours et donc j'ai acquis une certaine autonomie avec les cours. Je suis actuellement une formation en ingénierie physique ( Licence ), qui doit ensuite m'ouvrir les portes pour un master en physique fondamentale et application.

My name is Arcel, and I’m 29 years old. I'm a Math teacher but I can also teach Science (Biology & Chemistry) and Sociology. I like also playing basketball and guitar—two activities that allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. Whether it’s on the basketball court or playing my favorite songs, I enjoy the challenge and the connections these hobbies bring. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, Majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math), and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Teaching Mathematics. Shortly after, I successfully passed the licensure examination for teachers in September 2016. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching Mathematics.
