Je m’appelle Youna, j’ai 22 ans et je suis passionnée par les sciences, le sport et les voyages. En dehors de l’enseignement, je pratique le basket-ball et l’escrime, et j’aime aussi la musique ainsi que la lecture. Ma pédagogie : Je suis convaincue que l’apprentissage est plus efficace lorsqu’il fait écho aux centres d’intérêt de l’élève. C’est pourquoi j’adapte mes explications en utilisant des exemples concrets et personnalisés pour rendre les notions plus accessibles et stimulantes. Mon objectif est de créer un environnement d’apprentissage motivant et interactif afin d’aider chaque élève à progresser avec confiance. Mon expérience : Étant l’aînée d’une grande famille, j’ai très tôt pris l’habitude d’aider mes frères et cousins dans leurs devoirs. Plus tard, lors de mes expériences en baby-sitting, j’ai également accompagné des enfants dans la compréhension de leurs leçons. Au lycée, en internat, j’organisais régulièrement des sessions de révision avec mes camarades, en particulier en mathématiques, pour expliquer certains concepts et renforcer notre compréhension collective. Aujourd’hui, avec près de trois ans d’expérience sur GoStudents et bientôt 500 leçons données, j’ai eu l’opportunité de suivre des élèves du CE1 à la seconde, principalement en mathématiques, mais aussi dans d’autres matières scientifiques. Travailler avec des profils variés m’a permis d’affiner ma pédagogie et d’adapter mes méthodes en fonction des besoins spécifiques de chacun, qu’il s’agisse de renforcer les bases, d’approfondir certaines notions ou de gagner en confiance face aux sciences. Mon parcours scolaire J’ai suivi un parcours axé sur les langues et les sciences. Au collège, j’étais en classe bilingue allemand dès la 6ᵉ, puis en classe européenne anglais en 4ᵉ et 3ᵉ. Cette formation m’a permis de participer à l’échange Brigitte Sauzay, un programme d’immersion de trois mois en Allemagne. Au lycée, j’ai intégré un internat pour poursuivre l’allemand en classe européenne, avec deux heures de mathématiques en langue allemande. J’ai obtenu un Bac S SVT, spécialité physique-chimie, avec l’option européenne allemand. Après le Bac, j’ai effectué deux années de PACES suivies d’une année de pharmacie en France, avant de me réorienter dans un cursus international en médecine en République Tchèque, j’y suis actuellement en troisième année.

Hi! I am Lyka Anne I. Gabuat, I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education degree, specializing in Teaching Mathematics to middle school and high school students. For 6 years, I have taught math courses to senior high school students, specifically Calculus, Statistics and Probabilities and General Mathematics. I also have a short but extensive experience teaching IB, A-level and IGCSE math’ through an after-school program in China. At present, I am an online private tutor catering students who are struggling in mathematics. At present, I’m a freelance private math tutor. I like to see my students have fun as they learn new ideas and concepts. I believe that every student is unique, and it's our responsibility as educators to nurture their individual strengths and help them reach their full potential. I graduated from University of Baguio, Philippines last may of 2016 and got my teaching license the same year. I worked in the same University from August 2016 - December 2022 as Senior High School math teacher. I went to China in the following year to tutor International students and come back for personal reasons. At the moment, I'm a freelance Math tutor catering primary school to senior high school students thru online and face-to-face platform. I am also a unit earner (25 units) in Masters in Education Major in Mathematics. In addition, I have B2 level Certificate in International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

I've been a teacher for 6 years now, handling various subjects in Junior High School and Senior High School, age ranging from 10 to 23 years old. I am also an international coach in Mathematics Olympiad. I have a license as a professional teacher which I acquired last 2018. I started this journey in 2019, and completed it this September 2024. I earned my degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Mathematics, in 2018. During my time there, I was a Dean’s Lister, demonstrating my passion and dedication to academic excellence. I graduated as Class Valedictorian during my Elementary and Secondary School. In terms of experience, I’ve been teaching as a Senior High School Teacher II since October 2021. I’ve had the opportunity to handle various subjects, including Mathematics, Practical Research, and Accounting related subjects. Before this, I had a brief stint as a substitute teacher in September 2021, and I also taught for three years at Jose Rizal Institute from 2018 to 2021, teaching Mathematics to both junior and senior high school students. I have already attended various trainings and seminars in Mathematics. Aside from that, I won different competitions in Mathematics, the recent was as a winning coach for National Olympiad and set to compete in International Olympiad. Through my experiences in different teaching environments, I’ve developed a strong foundation in instructional methods and a deep commitment to helping students excel in their academic pursuits.
