Hello everyone! Je m'appelle Caroline, j'ai 38 ans et j'habite une jolie petite ville en Bretagne, dans laquelle j'enseigne l'anglais en club et à domicile depuis 6 ans... J'ai d'abord commencé par donner des cours d'anglais bénévolement dans une école primaire privée, de la maternelle au CM2 pendant 2 ans. Ce fut pour moi une révélation : j'adore enseigner et transmettre ma passion pour la langue anglaise ! Je suis actuellement professeur d'anglais dans le club BABLE de ma ville (depuis 2018) ; il s'agit de cours en groupes pour adultes, de débutants à intermédiaires. Je donne également des cours à domicile pour enfants, adolescents et adultes. Maman d'un enfant de 11 ans atteint de TDAH, je suis régulièrement en contact avec des enfants ayant des troubles de l'attention... J'ai déjà travaillé auprès d'élève DYS (dyslexie et dyscalculie). Je sais qu'il faut de la patience, de l'écoute et de la bienveillance. Je saurai donc mettre à profit mes compétences et connaissances dans ce domaine pendant mes cours. Mon objectif ? Progresser en s'amusant et sans jugement afin de donner à mes élèves l'envie et le goût d'apprendre l'anglais. J'ai un parcours un peu atypique... Au lycée, j'ai été jusqu'en première et ai arrêté mes études afin de me consacrer à la gestion de locations saisonnières avec mon ex-conjoint. J'ai exercé ce métier de 2004 à 2013, et pendant tout ce temps, j'ai été en contact avec des touristes de France mais également d'ailleurs, et nous communiquions en anglais. La langue anglaise fait partie de ma vie quotidienne, 365 jours par an ! Passionnée par la langue anglaise, j'ai également effectué de nombreux voyages, notamment au Royaume-Uni et aux Etats-Unis où j'ai vécu un an, à la Nouvelle Orléans (le papa de mon fils est américain et vit là-bas). Enseigner est plus qu'un métier pour moi, c'est une vocation !
