I’m a lively and creative tutor who makes learning English, English Literature, and Creative Writing exciting for students from elementary to Grade 12. I also teach elementary Geography and Biology, high school and introductory university Psychology, as well as high school Sociology. My lessons inspire curiosity, build confidence, and make learning engaging and fun! I completed my grade 12 high school diploma at Oaklands Secondary School in Cape Town, South Africa. I worked for several years as an educator at various schools in South Africa, teaching from grades 6 to 12. My subjects were English and Afrikaans at the senior level, and Biology and Geography at the elementary level. I am now completing my final year of a Bachelor of Arts degree, with majors in English and Psychology. I have also completed a certificate in The Principles of Human Resources.

Hallo, mein Name ist Karin Kido und ich bin 18 Jahre alt. Ich habe letzten Juni von der GRG3 Kundmanngasse maturiert. Zurzeit studiere ich Lehramt an der Universität Wien. In meiner Freizeit lese ich gerne Bücher und schreibe auch öfters Kurzgeschichten, wobei ich am liebsten auf Englisch lese und schreibe. Ich habe die VS Reisnerstraße besucht und ab 2017 die AHS GRG3 Kundmanngasse, wo ich im Juni 2025 mit einem guten Erfolg die Matura abgeschlossen habe, Zurzeit studiere ich Lehramt an der Universität Wien. An der Kundmanngasse habe ich 1 Jahr lang (2023/24) Englisch Nachhilfe gegeben.

Currently, I teach KS2 (White Rose Maths) / KS3 / GCSE / IGCSE/ A Level Maths/Physics for AQA, OCR, Edexcel, and CAIE exam boards. I also teach Maths for the MYP and IB Diploma Programme. I use resources from Pearson, Hodder, Cambridge, Oxford, Collins, Haese, and past papers as reference materials. Furthermore, I'm TEFL-certified and have been teaching English (ESL, Key (A2) PET (B1), First (B2), Advanced (C1) Certification), Math, Physics, and basic Japanese (N5-N4) part-time online for several years. Finally, I have Japanese Language Proficiency N3 Level, so I can teach N5-N4 level Japanese to those who are interested in this language.

I’m a passionate physical science teacher with over six years of classroom experience and a strong presence on online tutoring platforms.
