Hi! Ich bin Alexander, bin 21 Jahre alt, wohne in Linz und studiere auch hier Wirtschaftsinformatik. Neben meinen technischen Interessen, habe ich auch sehr viel für Sprachen über. Aus dieser Kombination entstehen auch die Fächer die ich unterrichte: Mathematik und Französisch. Ich habe bereits ein Jahr als Nachhilfelehrkraft in Linz gearbeitet und konnte sehr viele coole Erfahrungen mit Schüler*innen sammeln. Ich liebe es, Schüler*innen, die Faszination in meinen Fächern zurückzubringen oder diese auch ganz neu zu entflammen! Ich war bis auf ein Jahr Unterbrechung, von der Volksschule bis zur Matura an der AHS der Kreuzschwestern Linz. In dieser Zeit habe ich sehr viel gelernt, was mir bis heute in meinem Studium an der JKU hilft. Bevor ich Wirtschaftsinformatik begonnen habe zu studieren, absolvierte ich ein Semester im Studiengang Artificial Intelligence.

Ich studiere im 4. Semester Volksschullehramt an der PPH Augustinum mit Schwerpunkt Deutsch als Zweitsprache. Schon an der BAfEP Mureck habe ich entdeckt, wie viel Freude mir die Arbeit mit Kindern macht, da ich dort meine Ausbildung als Elementarpädagogin abgeschlossen habe. Ich unterrichte Mathematik, Englisch und Deutsch und unterstütze Schüler*innen individuell beim Lernen. Ich spezialisiere mich am liebsten auf Schüler*innen der Unterstufe bis maximal 15 Jahre, da ich durch mein Studium eher mit dem Volksschullehrplan vertraut bin. • PPH Augustinum Graz – Lehramt Volksschule, 4. Good day! I am Princess Ivy Ibanez, 29 years old. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, major in Mathematics, and have completed 42 units toward a Master of Arts in Teaching, also majoring in Mathematics. I have been teaching Mathematics for eight years, specializing in subjects such as Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, Probability, Statistics, General Mathematics, Abstract Algebra, and Pre-Calculus. One of my most meaningful accomplishments was leading a three-year intervention project for junior high school students who were struggling in Mathematics. Through consistent guidance and strategic teaching approaches, the program was a success—students showed significant improvement and were able to pass their Math subjects. Teaching Mathematics has always been my passion. I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every student can build confidence and develop a genuine appreciation for learning math. I love helping students realize that math isn’t just about numbers—it’s about problem-solving, logic, and creative thinking. What excites me most is seeing students go from saying, “I’m not good at math,” to confidently declaring, “I can actually do this!” That moment of transformation is why I teach. Math is everywhere—in nature, art, and technology—and showing students those connections makes learning both meaningful and fun. In my lessons, I focus on making math understandable, practical, and engaging. I break down concepts into clear, manageable steps and use real-world examples so students can see how math applies to everyday life. I also adapt my teaching to suit different learning styles—whether you learn best by watching, doing, or discussing, I make sure each student has a chance to grasp the concept in a way that works for them. My goal is to create a positive environment where mistakes are part of the learning process and every student feels confident to ask questions. Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring new places, reading about science and technology, and spending time with friends and family. I also love puzzles and strategy games—anything that challenges my mind, just like math does! My educational foundation is solid, anchored by a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, major in Mathematics, from the University of Rizal System – Morong, which I completed in the academic year 2017–2018. I am proud to have been a recipient of the Teacher Education Scholarship Program during my college years and to have graduated with the Outstanding Student Teacher Award. Currently, I am furthering my expertise by pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching, major in Mathematics, at the same institution, with 42 units already completed. I also continue to enhance my pedagogical skills through a TEFL Certificate from Teacher Record, which I earned in August 2025. Professionally, I am a Licensed Professional Teacher with a continuous teaching career. I currently serve as a Mathematics Teacher at Aldea National High School, a role I’ve held since 2022. Prior to this, I taught Mathematics at Bayugo National High School from 2018 to 2022. My earlier teaching experience includes serving as an Elementary Teacher (2016–2017) and a High School Teacher (2017–2018) at the California Academy for Lilminius. Teaching Mathematics is undeniably challenging, but I believe that with the right mindset and clearly defined daily objectives, it becomes a powerful and rewarding part of the learning journey. My goal is to use innovative teaching methods and technology to create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment—one that nurtures critical thinking and fosters a lifelong love of learning.
