Hallo! Ich bin Mathea, 23 Jahre alt und studiere Lehramt für die Sekundarstufe in den Unterrichtsfächern Spanisch und Englisch. I have been teaching Mathematics for eight years, specializing in subjects such as Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, Probability, Statistics, General Mathematics, Abstract Algebra, and Pre-Calculus. One of my most meaningful accomplishments was leading a three-year intervention project for junior high school students who were struggling in Mathematics. Through consistent guidance and strategic teaching approaches, the program was a success—students showed significant improvement and were able to pass their Math subjects. Teaching Mathematics has always been my passion. I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every student can build confidence and develop a genuine appreciation for learning math. I love helping students realize that math isn’t just about numbers—it’s about problem-solving, logic, and creative thinking. What excites me most is seeing students go from saying, “I’m not good at math,” to confidently declaring, “I can actually do this!” That moment of transformation is why I teach. My earlier teaching experience includes serving as an Elementary Teacher (2016–2017) and a High School Teacher (2017–2018) at the California Academy for Lilminius. Mein Name ist Arnela Omercevic und ich bin 24 Jahre alt. Ich bin bilingual aufgewachsen und eine Sprachen begeisterte Person. Ich spreche Bosnisch, Deutsch, Englisch, Italienisch und Niederländisch. Ich liebe es zu Reisen und neue Kulturen sowie Sprachen für mich zu entdecken. Meine Hobbies sind eben das Reisen, Lesen und Puzzeln. Ein gutes Buch und ein Puzzle können die Zeit wie im Flug vergehen lassen. Ich gebe schon jahrelang Nachhilfe, um genauer zu sein, seit ich in der Oberstufe im Gymnasium war. Ich bin immer auf einer Wellenlänge mit meinen Schülern und behandle sie nicht, als wäre ich ihre Lehrerin sondern ihre Freundin und versuche ihnen mit Humor das Fach näher zu bringen. Trotzdem muss man etwas Autorität in dieses Verhältnis einbringen, um ernst genommen zu werden. Die perfekte Balance zwischen diesen zwei Dingen bildet, meiner Meinung nach, den perfekten Tutor. Mein Studium war auf Englisch und das hat meine Englischkenntnisse noch mehr verbessert. Zusätzlich zu meiner Matura habe ich auch das Cambridge Certificate gemacht und einen Sprachkurs erfolgreich in Florenz, in Italienisch, absolviert.
