My name is Arcel, and I’m 29 years old. I'm a Math teacher but I can also teach Science (Biology & Chemistry) and Sociology. I like also playing basketball and guitar—two activities that allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. Whether it’s on the basketball court or playing my favorite songs, I enjoy the challenge and the connections these hobbies bring. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math) from Northern Mindanao Colleges Inc. in April 2016. Shortly after, I successfully passed the licensure examination for teachers in September 2016. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching Mathematics. My passion for mathematics and my dedication to education drive me to help students discover the beauty and relevance of the subject. Ich studiere Jus, habe aber nebenbei viele andere Hobbys, welche ich intensiv verfolge, vor allem Sprachen, Musik und Naturwissenschaften. In meiner Freizeit spiele ich Klavier, treibe Sport (Tennis, Golf, Fitness) und lese zu den genannten Themen viel, nehme hin und wieder an Kursen teil, um mein Wissen in den Gebieten laufend zu erweitern und auf den neusten Stand zu bringen. Ich habe in meiner Freizeit bereits häufig Freunden und Bekannten Nachhilfe gegeben - sei es in Sprachen, Naturwissenschaften oder im Einsteig als Unterstützung in der Klavierspielen. Schon zu meiner Schulzeit habe ich es geliebt, Präsentationen zu halten, auszuarbeiten und zu recherchieren. Anderen Menschen Wissen so zu vermitteln, dass es greifbar und verständlich wird, welches man sich selbst tiefgründig angeeignet hat, stellt für mich eine unglaublich wichtige Aufgabe dar, welcher ich neben meinem Studium gerne nachgehe.

With experience in Mathematics areas such as General Mathematics and Statistics and Probability, also in Science for General Physics 1 and 2, I aim to inspire a love of learning and develop critical thinking skills that students can carry with them throughout their lives. Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing Lawn Tennis as my sports and Reading and Studying nonfiction books especially an inspirational and motivational true to life journey which help me stay balanced and bring fresh perspectives to my teaching. Education I hold a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a Post-Baccalaureate in Teacher Education with a major in Mathematics. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Education, also with a major in Mathematics which provided me with a solid foundation in both pedagogical theory and subject-specific knowledge. Through my studies, I developed a strong understanding of how to create lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs, while also fostering a positive classroom environment.
