Hello! My name is Rina Sophia, and I am a dedicated Math tutor with 10 years of teaching experience. I help O/L and secondary students build strong problem-solving skills and a positive mindset toward Mathematics. I have taught a wide range of syllabi including UK Local, several USA State syllabi, Cambridge, Edexcel, American, and Indian CBSE. Over the past 10 years, I have developed professionally by tutoring students from various academic systems, including Cambridge IGCSE, Edexcel, UK Local, American curriculum, USA State syllabi, and Indian CBSE. I have also supported students with mild Autism and ADHD, which has taught me how to adapt lessons to match each student’s individual learning style and abilities. Hallo mein Name ist Sarah und ich bin 21 Jahre alt. Ich habe seit der Unterstufe eine riesen Leidenschaft für Geschichte und Latein und möchte diese gerne auch auf andere Menschen übertragen. In meiner Freizeit lese und koche ich gerne und verbringe viel Zeit mit meinen Katzen. In den Ferien mache ich gerne Urlaub im In- und Ausland :) 2014-2018: Unterstufe am Stiftsgymnasium Melk, 2018-2022: Oberstufe am Stiftsgymnasium Melk mit Schwerpunkt Altgriechisch & Latein, 2022-2025: Bachelorstudium Geschichte an der Universität Wien (Master folgt), seit 2025: Bachelorstudium Klassische Philologie an der Universität Wien, seit 2022 auch geringfügig tätig.

Mexiko, Österreich, Frankreich - und das alleine sind nur meine Staatsbürgerschaften. Meine Begeisterung für fremde Sprachen und Kulturen kennt keine Grenzen. Aufgewachsen bin ich an der Küste Mexikos, als Kind französischer und österreichischer Eltern, und bin im Alter von 15 Jahren nach einem kurzen Zwischenstopp in Marokko nach Österreich in ein Internat zum Zwecke meiner Ausbildung gezogen. Selbst in meiner Freizeit befasse ich mich leidenschaftlich gerne mit anderen Kulturen und Sprachen und lerne neben meinem IBWL Studium Italienisch. Andere Hobbys von mir sind Tanzen und in den Ferien die Berge Österreichs zu erkunden. Ich besuchte die Grundschule in Cancún, Mexiko. Die Unterstufe machte ich an der Schweizer Schule in Mexiko-Stadt. Für die Oberstufe wechselte ich in ein Internat in Gmunden, Oberösterreich. Seit Oktober 2020 studiere ich Internationale Betriebswirtschaft an der Universität Wien.

I then pursued tertiary studies at Vaal University of Technology, earning a BTech degree in Chemistry. During my time at university, I gained in-depth knowledge in Chemistry, including practical laboratory skills, analytical techniques, and applied scientific concepts. My strong background in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology allows me to tutor A-level students effectively across these subjects. I enjoy making lessons interactive and tailored to each student's needs so that they can achieve their academic goals.
