Hi :) Ich bin derzeit Max-Planck Doktorandin in Tübingen (DE) und komme ursprünglich aus Österreich (AT, Bildungssystem mit Matura sowie Abitur vertraut). Ich habe eine naturwissenschaftliche Schule (Schwerpunkt: Chemietechnik) abgeschlossen. Neben dem Studium gehe ich viel eistanzen, laufen und wandern. Mir macht besonders Chemie, Physik und Biologie besonders Spaß und Mathematik braucht man einfach, um alles gut formulieren zu können. About Me Hello! My name is Mary Ann Suizo, and I am a dedicated and passionate educator with a love for fostering growth and curiosity in students. I have always believed in the transformative power of education, and my goal is to create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive environment where every student feels empowered to succeed. With experience in Mathematics areas such as General Mathematics and Statistics and Probability, also in Science for General Physics 1 and 2, I aim to inspire a love of learning and develop critical thinking skills that students can carry with them throughout their lives. Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing Lawn Tennis as my sports and Reading and Studying nonfiction books especially an inspirational and motivational true to life journey which help me stay balanced and bring fresh perspectives to my teaching. Education I hold a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a Post-Baccalaureate in Teacher Education with a major in Mathematics. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Education, also with a major in Mathematics which provided me with a solid foundation in both pedagogical theory and subject-specific knowledge. Through my studies, I developed a strong understanding of how to create lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs, while also fostering a positive classroom environment. Additionally, I have participated in professional development trainings, seminars and workshops for the past years, ensuring that I stay updated with the latest teaching strategies and educational tools. My educational journey continues as I strive to refine my skills and become a better teacher for my students every day.

Ich bin in Linz (Österreich) geboren und aufgewachsen. Ich lese gerne (vorzugsweise englische und französische Klassiker im Original) und betreibe regelmäßig Sport (am liebsten Fitness). Außerdem interessiere ich mich für andere Sprachen und Kulturen, weswegen ich auch gerne reise (vor allem in Europa). Ich sehe mich mehr als Unions- bzw. Weltbürger denn als Österreicher. Im Übrigen liegen mir Tier- und Naturschutz sehr am Herzen. Ich habe in Graz (Österreich) Anglistik/Amerikanistik (BA & MA) mit Auszeichnung studiert. Im Rahmen meines Studiums war ich zweimal im Ausland, und zwar in Connecticut (USA) und Paris (Frankreich). Zusätzlich zu meinem Hauptstudium habe ich das Ergänzungsfach Europa: Sprachen, Wirtschaft und Recht (mit Fokus auf Französisch sowie Europa- und Völkerrecht) gemacht.
