Hello! I am a postgraduate researcher in Biotechnology with a strong academic foundation that includes a BSc, Honours degree, and an MSc currently in its final stages. From early in my academic journey, I developed a passion not only for scientific inquiry but also for teaching and knowledge-sharing. My long-term goal is to contribute meaningfully to academia as a lecturer and researcher, and tutoring has been a natural and fulfilling part of that path. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, with majors in Microbiology and Biochemistry, completed in 2020. I later obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Biotechnology in 2022, which strengthened my foundation in applied biotechnology, laboratory research, and scientific analysis. I am currently completing a Master of Science (MSc) in Biotechnology, with research-based training in experimental design, data interpretation, and scientific writing. In addition, I obtained a Tutor Training Certificate from the University of Johannesburg during my tutoring tenure (2024–2025), where I tutored Microbiology, gaining formal training in effective teaching, student support, and academic facilitation.

Hallo, mein Name ist Simon Mayer, ich bin 29 Jahre alt und studiere derzeit im Masterstudium Atmospheric Physics and Climate an der Universität Graz. Während meines Physik-Bachelorstudiums habe ich mein Interesse an der Klimaphysik entdeckt. Durch meinen HTL-Abschluss sowie mein intensives Studium bin ich mit den mathematischen und physikalischen Konzepten bestens vertraut. Mein Ziel ist es, Physik und Mathematik so zu erklären, dass sie verständlich und anschaulich werden. Ich habe bereits Erfahrungen in der Nachhilfe gesammelt, indem ich sowohl Freunde als auch Kinder von Verwandten beim Lernen für Schularbeiten und Maturavorbereitungen unterstützt habe. Ich habe im Jahr 2017 meine Matura an der PHTL in Lienz absolviert. Danach begann ich mein Bachelorstudium in Physik an der Karl-Franzens-Universität in Graz, das ich im Jahr 2022 abgeschlossen habe. Derzeit befinde ich mich im Masterstudium mit dem Schwerpunkt Atmospheric Physics and Climate. Ich bin Student der HU-Berlin und kenne mich gut in den Bereichen Mathematik und Biologie aus. Ich helfe gern bei Problemen und liebe das Erklären und aufstellen alternative Erklärungsmethoden um einen anderen Blick auf die Thematik zu gewinnen. Dabei ist es mir auch sehr wichtig einen Vollständigen Blick auf das Thema zu werfen, da es meiner Meinung nach langfristig hilft erfolgreich zu sein. Ich habe das Einstein-Gymnasium Neuenhagen bei Berlin besucht und anschließend mein Studium in Physik begonnen. Ich bin momentan im ersten Semester für meinen Monobachelor an der Humboldt Universität zu Berlin und gebe bereits seit nun über einem Jahr regelmäßig Nachhilfe.
