Hello! My name is Rhiesele Joy Bentaha, and I am deeply passionate about the transformative power of education. I earned my degree which is Bachelors in Secondary Education major in General Science from Bukidnon State University, where I developed a strong foundation in both teaching and my subject area. My academic journey has been enriched through hands-on experiences, including my internship at Bukidnon National High School and volunteering with Education for Interdependent World (EDIW). and currently I am expanding my knowledge and specialties by taking my masters degree in the same university. These opportunities have shaped me into the dedicated and enthusiastic educator I am today.

I am a Licensed Professional Teacher, a Civil Service Eligibility holder, and a TEFL-certified educator. Additionally, I am a Suken Passer of the Mathematics Certification Institute of Japan. My teaching experience spans both primary and secondary levels, where I have refined my ability to present complex mathematical concepts in an engaging and accessible manner. With six years of experience as a former engineer in a Japanese multinational company, I’ve had the opportunity to live in Japan, Thailand, and Germany. Chatting with people from all walks of life? Yep, that’s my jam! 🌏😃 I'm TEFL-certified and have been teaching English (ESL, not academic), Math, Physics, and basic Japanese part-time online for several years. Currently, I teach KS3 / GCSE / IGCSE Maths for AQA, OCR, Edexcel, and CAIE exam boards. I use resources from Pearson, Hodder, Cambridge, Oxford, Collins, Haese, and past papers as reference materials. I also teach Maths and Physics for the MYP and IB Diploma Programme. Throughout elementary and high school, I eagerly represented my school in Math and English (Extemporaneous speech, broadcasting, editorial writing) competitions, which provided me with intensive training and a strong affinity for the subjects. With my engineering background, I also have a solid foundation in college level Physics. Finally, I have Japanese Language Proficiency N3 Level, so I can teach N5-N4 level Japanese to those who are interested in this language.

Ich bin ein begeisterter Sprachliebhaber und finde es spannend, Menschen dabei zu unterstützen, ihr volles Potenzial zu entfalten. Nach meinem Musikstudium, in dem ich meine Leidenschaft für Gesang und Kreativität ausleben konnte, habe ich begonnen, meine Interessen auch auf andere Bereiche auszuweiten. Seit fast zehn Jahren lebe ich in London, einer multikulturellen Metropole, die meine Perspektiven und meine Liebe zu Sprachen und Kulturen noch mehr bereichert hat. Die Arbeit mit Menschen erfüllt mich sehr, denn ich schätze den Austausch und die Möglichkeit, Wissen weiterzugeben. Für mich ist Lernen ein lebenslanger Prozess, den ich mit Freude und Begeisterung begleite. Ich habe von 2015 bis 2018 meinen Bachelor of Music am renommierten King’s College London absolviert und mit First-Class Honours abgeschlossen. Während meines Studiums konnte ich fundierte Kenntnisse in Musiktheorie, Komposition und Performance entwickeln und meine Leidenschaft für Musik weiter vertiefen. Mein Abschluss reflektiert nicht nur mein Engagement, sondern auch meine Fähigkeit, auf höchstem akademischem Niveau zu arbeiten. Zuvor habe ich meine Matura an der Reithmann Secondary School in Innsbruck mit einem hervorragenden Notenschnitt von 1,5 abgeschlossen. Hier legte ich eine solide Grundlage in einer breiten Palette von Fächern, die meine analytischen, sprachlichen und kreativen Fähigkeiten förderten.
