My name is Arcel, and I’m 29 years old. I'm a Math teacher but I can also teach Science (Biology & Chemistry) and Sociology. I like also playing basketball and guitar—two activities that allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. Whether it’s on the basketball court or playing my favorite songs, I enjoy the challenge and the connections these hobbies bring. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math) from Northern Mindanao Colleges Inc. in April 2016. Shortly after, I successfully passed the licensure examination for teachers in September 2016. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching Mathematics. Hallo liebe Schüler*innen und Eltern, ich erinnere mich gut daran, wie es sich anfühlt, wenn man in einem Fach feststeckt und trotz Bemühungen keine Fortschritte sieht. Genau deshalb ist es mir ein Anliegen, Schüler*innen dabei zu helfen, diese Herausforderungen zu überwinden und ihre Ziele zu erreichen. Ich studiere Soziologie im 5. Semester an der Universität Wien und bringe eine große Leidenschaft für die englische Sprache mit. Diese Begeisterung und Freude am Unterrichten motivieren mich, Schüler*innen individuell zu fördern und ihr Selbstvertrauen in Englisch und Mathematik zu stärken. Ob bei der Prüfungsvorbereitung, beim Ausbau der Sprachkenntnisse oder beim Lösen mathematischer Aufgaben – ich setze auf eine praxisorientierte, geduldige und motivierende Herangehensweise. Dabei lege ich besonderen Wert darauf, Wissenslücken gezielt aufzuarbeiten und Grundlagen zu stärken, um eine solide Basis für zukünftige Lernerfolge zu schaffen. Mit über vier Jahren Erfahrung als Nachhilfelehrer – sowohl online als auch in Präsenz – habe ich mit Schüler*innen unterschiedlichster Bedürfnisse gearbeitet, darunter auch mit Lernenden auf dem Autismus-Spektrum sowie mit ADHS und Legasthenie. Ich bin Student an der Universität Wien seit 2022. Meinen Batchelor in Soziologie erhielt ich 2025. Derzeit studiere ich Politikwissenschaft als Masterstudiengang. Meine Matura machte ich im Jahr 2022 am BORG Deutsch-Wagram mit Musikschwerpunkt. Die Unterstufe besuchte ich am Gymnasium Groß-Enzersdorf. Seit über fünf Jahren gebe ich regelmäßig Nachhilfe in Englisch und Mathematik und unterstütze gelegentlich auch in Deutsch. Dank meiner Frau, die aus den USA stammt, habe ich die Möglichkeit, regelmäßig Englisch im Alltag zu sprechen. Dies hat nicht nur meine Sprachkenntnisse auf ein fortgeschrittenes Niveau gehoben, sondern auch meine Lehrmethoden praxisnah und vielseitig gestaltet.
