Hallo, ich bin Kathi und bin 20 Jahre. Seit September 2024 studiere ich Hebamme an einer Fachhochschule in Österreich. Davor lebte ich für ein Jahr in Frankreich und hab dort als Aupair gearbeitet. Ich hab schon als Schülerin die Sprache Französisch sehr geliebt und würde gerne helfen in dem ich Nachhilfe geben darf. Ich hab immer wieder im Freundeskreis und meiner Familie geholfen mit der Sprache, zwar noch nicht explizit Nachhilfe gegeben aber schon viel Erfahrung mit Schülern und Kindern. Ich freue mich auf neue Herausforderungen und freue mich denen zu helfen, die Hilfe brauchen mit französisch. Mir ist eine individuelle Betreuung sehr wichtig und das man natürlich auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse eingeht. Ich habe eine Tourismusschule besucht, in der auch sehr viel Wert auf die Sprachausbildung gelegt wurde. Im September 2024 habe ich maturiert, unter anderem auch in Französisch. Anschließend habe ich dann einen Sprachkurs an einer Uni in Paris belegt um meine Sprachkenntnisse noch einmal zu vertiefen, bzw. hab ich dort gelebt und gearbeitet für ein Jahr. Jetzt studiere ich Hebamme an einer Fachhochschule in Österreich. Ich habe schon viel Erfahrung im Umgang mit Kindern, ich habe als Aupair gearbeitet, in der Kinderbetreuung, und auch als Kindermädchen, wo ich auch immer wieder bei den Hausaufgaben unterstützt habe.

In my free time, I enjoy solving puzzles and playing chess, which keeps my mind sharp and creative throughout the day. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Biotechnology, where I developed strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills. My scientific background has enhanced my logical reasoning and precision, which I now apply to teaching Mathematics. I create engaging, inquiry-based lessons that connect mathematical concepts to real-world and scientific contexts, cater to diverse learning styles, and foster a supportive environment where every student can build confidence and achieve success.

I teach senior high school mathematics at all levels, from foundational to advanced. With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.

My name is Liezle. I am currently pursuing a career in science as a trainee laboratory assistant within the biochemistry and chemistry fields. Additionally, I’ve run my own business, taught middle school in Asia, and for a few years exercised my creative muscle as a fashion assistant. Anything outdoor involving wine and food with a friend, or a lazy day at the ocean or hanging around in a shopping mall is a good day. I truly love science. I am passionate about learning new things and applying my knowledge to real-world problems. I am always eager to collaborate with others and contribute to the advancement of scientific research, testing and analytical thinking! I am a 3rd year student at the University of South Africa; I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a focus on biochemistry and chemistry. I have also gained valuable experience as a general science educator for a few years, where I taught students within intermediate phase, in the chemistry, physics and biology disciplines. I am also embarking on a one-year laboratory assistant trainee program.
