Hi, I’m Cherry Mae Quijano, a passionate educator with a deep love for mathematics. I strive to make complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for my students. I hold a bachelor’s in secondary education, majoring in mathematics, and am pursuing a master’s in education. I teach general mathematics and statistics with a focus on active participation and critical thinking. Beyond the classroom, I mentor students, coach for competitions, and foster a growth mindset. Ich bin Diätologie-Studentin (=ernährungsmedizinische Beratung) und komme aus Oberösterreich. Ich würde mich als eine begeisterungsfähige und kommunikative Person bezeichnen, die stets ein offenes Ohr für Mitmenschen hat. Ich freue mich schon, Schüler:innen meine Freude am Lernen vermitteln zu können. Ich habe den musikalischen Zweig im BORG Ried in Innkreis besucht, habe anschließend in Salzburg den Kommunikationswissenschaft-Bachelor abgeschlossen und im Zuge des Studiums ein Erasmus-Semester in Schweden gemacht. Seit Herbst 2024 studiere ich an der FH St. Pölten Diätologie.

In Math, I cover topics from basic arithmetic to algebra, geometry, and statistics at GCSE, and focus on core mathematics and mechanics at A-Level. I particularly enjoy working with primary and GCSE students. Known as "Reyzzle," my passion for teaching was sparked by an educator who inspired my love for learning. I aim to motivate students to reach their goals. Outside of teaching, I enjoy baking, traveling, and singing, which help me maintain a balanced life. I am a licensed Professional Teacher and a Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Biology graduate, awarded Cum Laude. My academic background has not only deepened my expertise in biology but also provided me with a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. In addition to my degree, I hold a TEFL certificate, which has further developed my communication skills and equipped me to effectively engage with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. In the classroom, I specialize in teaching mathematics, with a focus on simplifying complex topics and helping students build both confidence and understanding. My interdisciplinary training, combined with hands-on teaching experience, has shaped me into a versatile and adaptive educator.
