Hi, I’m Elaine Bereña, and I specialize in teaching Mathematics. My teaching journey began as part of my return of service for the scholarship I received during my college years. During that time, I taught various Math subjects, including General Mathematics, Pre-Calculus, Basic Calculus, and Statistics and Probability. In addition to my classroom experience, I also provided tutoring services for college students in higher-level mathematics courses, such as Calculus. Currently, I work as a freelance chat-based tutor, continuing to support students with their learning needs in Mathematics. The satisfaction I feel when a student grasps a challenging concept is incredibly rewarding. I take great pride in contributing to each student’s academic growth, and I view teaching as a reciprocal experience—helping students develop while constantly learning and evolving myself. As an educator, I am passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. My goal is to make students feel comfortable and confident, encouraging them to share their hobbies, interests, and personal experiences. I hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Batangas State University – The National Engineering University in the Philippines. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in both teaching and the Electrical Engineering industry, with a particular focus on renewable energy. My career spans various roles in engineering, project management, strategic planning, and teaching, equipping me with a versatile skill set and a deep understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of the field. In addition to my technical expertise, I am passionate about bridging the gap between theory and real-world applications, ensuring that students not only develop strong academic foundations but also acquire the practical skills and insights needed to excel in their careers. I believe in providing students with a well-rounded learning experience that prepares them for the dynamic challenges of the engineering world, particularly in emerging sectors like renewable energy. Hello, I’m Rainah, an educator since 2015 with a passion for teaching Mathematics. I’ve taught students from elementary to tertiary levels, including online classes for US-based learners. Additionally, I’ve authored two books under MSA Publishing: Math Olympiad Reviewer and Elementary Algebra Workbook, designed to help students excel in mathematics. I’ve also held leadership roles, including serving as General Education Program Head and Senior High School Assistant Principal. My mission as an educator is to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment that inspires growth and critical thinking. Teaching is more than a profession to me—it’s my calling, and I am committed to empowering my students to reach their full potential. I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics. I am a licensed professional teacher and TEFL certified, which allows me to teach students from diverse backgrounds. I chose to become a math teacher because of my deep passion for the subject and the joy I find in helping students discover its beauty and real-world applications. Teaching, for me, is the best option as it allows me to inspire and shape the minds of the next generation while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Mi sono diplomata nel 2022 in un liceo scientifico ed ora sono una studentessa di Ingegneria dei Sistemi Medicali presso UniVr. Da anni ormai do ripetizioni a ragazzi di scuola primaria e secondaria (primo e secondo grado) su disparate discipline. Di solito aiuto in matematica (aritmetica, algebra, geometria), fisica e chimica, ma spesso e volentieri mi trovo ad affrontare con i ragazzi anche la lingua inglese o altre materie sia umanistiche che scientifiche (filosofia, storia, …). Sono quindi a disposizione per qualsiasi tipo di insegnamento e a venire incontro a qualsiasi richiesta. Attualmente sto frequentando il corso di laurea in Ingegneria dei Sistemi Medicali per la Persona presso UniVr. Mi sono diplomata nel 2022 in un liceo scientifico tradizionale. Sono in possesso di una certificazione linguistica per la lingua inglese pari al C1, effettuata presso il centro linguistico di ateneo dell’Università di Verona. Sono circa cinque anni che do ripetizioni con costanza a studenti di varie età, dalle elementari alle superiori (vari indirizzi). Mi occupo di materie scientifiche (come matematica, chimica, fisica, …) e umanistiche (italiano, filosofia, storia,…) fino ad arrivare alle lingue (inglese soprattutto, ma mi è capitato anche il francese).
