My name is Arcel, and I’m 29 years old. I'm a Math teacher but I can also teach Science (Biology & Chemistry) and Sociology. I like also playing basketball and guitar—two activities that allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. Whether it’s on the basketball court or playing my favorite songs, I enjoy the challenge and the connections these hobbies bring. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math) from Northern Mindanao Colleges Inc. in April 2016. Shortly after, I successfully passed the licensure examination for teachers in September 2016. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching Mathematics. My passion for mathematics and my dedication to education drive me to help students discover the beauty and relevance of the subject. Teaching is a profession I am deeply committed to, as I believe it is through education that I can make a lasting impact on students' lives. My goal as an educator is not only to help students master mathematical concepts but also to inspire them to develop a genuine interest in the subject. I understand that many students find math challenging, which is why I believe that patience and the right approach are key to helping them overcome obstacles. Both students are out of school youth due to family problem, early pregnancy, health issues, financially unstable and etc. Preferred Student Age Group: I prefer students from Primary and Secondary Level. I am a Mathematics Teacher for 19 years. % years from private school wherein I taught Algebra and Geometry and 14 years in public school wherein I handled different year levels. I am a passionate, hardworking and flexible teacher. During my free time, I love watching volleyball and basketball. I want to watch horror and suspense movies too. I also love singing and dancing. It is one of my dreams to travel around the world and see the beauty of nature. Currently, I'd been teaching Grade 8 students and at the same time the math trainer of our school. Teaching is quite a challenging but fulfilling job. I love to see my students reach their full potentials and achieve their goals. I Graduated from Philippine Normal University where I took up Bachelor of Science in Mathematics for Teachers. I also had 39 units in masteral at the same school but unfortunately, I was not able to finish it because of giving birth to my first born. I was also qualified to took up special courses like the Spanish class and I finish until level 7. After my graduation, I already took Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) and fortunately, I was able to pass it. My first experience in teaching was in private school wherein I taught Algebra and Geometry. My stay there was so remarkable because it helped me a lot in terms classroom management, teaching styles, and the experience I needed to be a better teacher in the Future. Currently, I am a Junior High School Math Teacher and Mathematics Trainer in a Public School. I started being the mathematics trainer just last year, and fortunately with the help and guidance of our Lord we ranked 1st in our division area sectoral. I considered it as one of my big accomplishments because, being a trainer is not that easy. You need to exert extra effort and time to feed the necessary knowledge that your students needed. You need to research different questions that will help your students to be prepared in the contest. It is very heart-wrenching knowing that you are part of the success of your students and your school. I am also a trainer of tower of Hanoi. A contest that helps your student to think critically. I also handled Open High School Students in our school, where majority of my students were out of school youth due to family problem, early pregnancy, financially unstable and working students. With my experience in handling them for 6 years, I must say, I learned to be more open-minded and considerate with my students. To give extra effort to help them finish their studies. To let them feel that they are not alone, and they have a support system not just a teacher. Being a teacher, you need not only to be intellectually literate but also emotionally literate. You need to be ready all the time and, in every situation.

Hallo, ich bin Adam. Ich mag Sprachen und unterrichte Englisch seit 3 Jahren. Die Sprache habe ich in einem zweisprachigen Gymnasium für 5 Jahren lang studiert. Jetzt bin ich ein Student an der TU Wien. Ich schätze die Sprachkenntnisse und möchte Anderen helfen, die gewünschte Sprache beherrschen zu können. Ich mag reisen und die Welt besser zu erkennen. Das versuche ich auch mit meinen SchülerInnen zu machen und zusammen einen näheren Hinblick auf die unterschiedlichsten Themen der Welt zu werfen. Das finde ich am besten in der englischen Sprache, die Möglichkeit Menschen einander näherzubringen. Ich habe ein zweisprachiges Gymnasium besucht, wo ich verschiedene Fächer auf Fremdsprache (Englisch) gelernt habe. Nach der Matura bin ich nach Wien umgezogen und da studiere ich an der TU Wien Raumplanung und Raumordnung. Ich habe schon mehr als 2000 Stunden bei GoStudent gehalten und habe SchülerInnen von OS; Gymnasium und aus unterschiedlichen beruflichen Felder. Das bedeutet Beispielen aus dem realen Leben, Spielen und interessanter Informationsaustausch, damit wir während diesen Einheiten nicht nur lernen, aber auch ein bisschen Spaß haben können. Und wenn etwas nicht eindeutig ist, versuche ich das Konzept noch einmal anders zu erklären. Bisher haben meine SchülerInnen viel Erfolg gehabt.

Ich bin ein sehr hilfsbereiter, herzlicher, lustiger und offener Mensch. In meiner Schulzeit waren Englisch, Deutsch und Latein sowie Mathe meine Lieblingsfächer. Ich erarbeite bis heute gerne Inhalte, die mit diesen Fächern zu tun haben und kenne mich inhaltlich sowie didaktisch sehr gut aus. Ich arbeite schon lange mit Kindern zusammen. Ich habe bereits in meiner Jugend viel Erfahrung mit Kindern und deren Zusammenarbeit lernen können. Ich habe Kinder betreut und seit über sieben Jahren Nachhilfeerfahrung mit jüngeren sowie auch älteren Kindern. Ich hatte in meiner Laufbahn ebenfalls Kinder mit LSR und ADHS. In meiner Freizeit fahre ich liebend Rennrad, schwimme gerne, höre Musik und reise für mein Leben gerne. Ich habe acht Jahre lang ein Gymnasium besucht. Ebenfalls habe ich dort meine Matura absolviert und ua in den Fächern Englisch, Deutsch und Geografie maturiert. Im selben Jahr habe ich mit dem Studium begonnen. Das Studium bereitet mir viel Freude.
