Hallo, mein Name ist Simon Mayer, ich bin 29 Jahre alt und studiere derzeit im Masterstudium Atmospheric Physics and Climate an der Universität Graz. Während meines Physik-Bachelorstudiums habe ich mein Interesse an der Klimaphysik entdeckt. Durch meinen HTL-Abschluss sowie mein intensives Studium bin ich mit den mathematischen und physikalischen Konzepten bestens vertraut. Mein Ziel ist es, Physik und Mathematik so zu erklären, dass sie verständlich und anschaulich werden. Ich habe bereits Erfahrungen in der Nachhilfe gesammelt, indem ich sowohl Freunde als auch Kinder von Verwandten beim Lernen für Schularbeiten und Maturavorbereitungen unterstützt habe. Ich habe im Jahr 2017 meine Matura an der PHTL in Lienz absolviert. Danach begann ich mein Bachelorstudium in Physik an der Karl-Franzens-Universität in Graz, das ich im Jahr 2022 abgeschlossen habe. Derzeit befinde ich mich im Masterstudium mit dem Schwerpunkt Atmospheric Physics and Climate. I teach senior high school mathematics at all levels, from foundational to advanced. With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.
