Hallo, ich bin Linda. Ich bin 22 Jahre alt und mache gerade meinen Master in Kultur- und Sozialanthropologie. Ich habe bereits viel mit Kindern verschiedenster Altersgruppen gearbeitet. Dabei macht es mir besonders Spaß gemeinsam mit den Schüler:innen Wissen zu erarbeiten und sie beim Meistern von Herausforderungen im Lernprozess zu unterstützen. Schon während meiner Schulzeit habe ich immer gerne meinen Mitschüler:innen geholfen und ihnen die Dinge, die sich nicht verstanden haben, erklärt. Besonders wichtig ist für mich bei der Nachhilfe Geduld zu haben, eine entspannte Atmosphäre zu schaffen und auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse der Person einzugehen, um einen langfristigen Lernerfolg zu garantieren. Ich habe die Matura, in einer AHS mit Theater-Schwerpunkt, mit ausgezeichnetem Erfolg absolviert. Während dieser Zeit habe ich bereits in meiner Nachbarschaft Nachhilfe gegeben. Anschließend habe ich eine freiwillig Soziales Jahr in Südamerika gemacht, bei dem ich in einer Schule mit Kindern verschiedensten Alters gearbeitet habe. Dabei habe ich auch besonders intensiv Spanisch gelernt, sodass ich die Sprache jetzt wirklich gut beherrsche. Danach bin ich für mein Bachelorstudium Kultur- und Sozialanthropologie nach Wien gezogen. Während dem Studium habe ich einmal pro Woche auf freiwilliger Basis in einer Lernbetreuung in den verschiedensten Fächern ausgeholfen. Während den Sommerferien habe ich in einem Englisch-Feriencamp für Kinder gearbeitet, bei dem der Fokus vor allem darauf gelegen ist, den Kindern die Sprache spielerisch beizubringen. Diesen Sommer habe ich meinen Bachelor mit ausgezeichnetem Erfolg abgeschlossen und fange jetzt im Herbst mit meinem Master, ebenfalls in Kultur- und Sozialanthropologie, an.

I am currently advancing my studies at the University of Johannesburg, where I am enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering program specializing in Electrical Engineering. My coursework has provided me with a deep and practical understanding of key engineering principles. I am actively developing specializations in several core areas, including: Electronic Circuit Design: Analyzing and designing analog and digital circuits. Power Systems: Understanding the generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical power. Signal Processing: Learning techniques to analyze and manipulate analog and digital signals. I have had the privilege of teaching a wide range of subjects—Math, English, and Science for primary and lower secondary students, as well as Music, Arts, and Computer Technology at the upper secondary level. My greatest motivation comes from witnessing those “Aha!” moments when students finally grasp challenging concepts. I graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Elementary Education, major in General Education. During my undergraduate years, I was an Academic Excellence Awardee, a Dean’s Lister, and a scholar under the Tulong Pang-Edukasyon para sa Bulakenyo program. I also served as Treasurer of the COEd-Generalist Society and worked as a student assistant at the College of Science and Mathematics. To further enhance my leadership and management skills, I am currently completing my thesis for the Master of Arts in Educational Management at Bulacan State University Graduate School, having already finished 39 academic units. I also continue to expand my knowledge through online learning. At the University of the Philippines Open University, I completed micro courses in Graphic Design and Typography, Business Analytics, and Technology for Teaching and Learning. In addition, I trained with Canva Design School, taking up programs such as AI in the Classroom, Graphic Design Essentials, and Teaching Essentials. Over the years, I’ve also developed strong skills in online teaching, Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, Adobe Suites, and Canva Professional. I’m a lively and creative tutor who makes learning English, English Literature, and Creative Writing exciting for students from elementary to Grade 12. I also teach elementary Geography and Biology, high school and introductory university Psychology, as well as high school Sociology. My lessons inspire curiosity, build confidence, and make learning engaging and fun! I completed my grade 12 high school diploma at Oaklands Secondary School in Cape Town, South Africa. I worked for several years as an educator at various schools in South Africa, teaching from grades 6 to 12. My subjects were English and Afrikaans at the senior level, and Biology and Geography at the elementary level.
