I facilitated individual and group counseling sessions, working closely with students to address their challenges and develop strategies for resilience and growth. My role also involved collaborating with parents and teachers to create tailored interventions that promoted the holistic development of each student. I am particularly passionate about fostering mental health awareness and empowering young individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential. Currently, I apply my skills as an Online ESL Teacher, helping non-native speakers improve their English proficiency. In this role, I develop engaging lesson plans tailored to students' learning needs and goals. I focus on creating a supportive and interactive environment that encourages confidence in speaking, writing, and comprehension. This experience has further enhanced my ability to communicate effectively across cultures, adapt to diverse learning styles, and motivate students to succeed. My dual experience as a counselor and educator has strengthened my commitment to empowering individuals, whether by addressing their emotional and psychological needs or by equipping them with the tools for effective communication. With six years of experience as a former engineer in a Japanese multinational company, I’ve had the opportunity to live in Japan, Thailand, and Germany. Chatting with people from all walks of life? Yep, that’s my jam! 🌏😃 I'm TEFL-certified and have been teaching English (ESL, not academic), Math, Physics, and basic Japanese part-time online for several years. Currently, I teach KS3 / GCSE / IGCSE Maths for AQA, OCR, Edexcel, and CAIE exam boards. I use resources from Pearson, Hodder, Cambridge, Oxford, Collins, Haese, and past papers as reference materials. I also teach Maths and Physics for the MYP and IB Diploma Programme. With my engineering background, I also have a solid foundation in college level Physics. Finally, I have Japanese Language Proficiency N3 Level, so I can teach N5-N4 level Japanese to those who are interested in this language.

Ich bin in Linz (Österreich) geboren und aufgewachsen. Ich lese gerne (vorzugsweise englische und französische Klassiker im Original) und betreibe regelmäßig Sport (am liebsten Fitness). Außerdem interessiere ich mich für andere Sprachen und Kulturen, weswegen ich auch gerne reise (vor allem in Europa). Ich sehe mich mehr als Unions- bzw. Weltbürger denn als Österreicher. Im Übrigen liegen mir Tier- und Naturschutz sehr am Herzen. Ich habe in Graz (Österreich) Anglistik/Amerikanistik (BA & MA) mit Auszeichnung studiert. Im Rahmen meines Studiums war ich zweimal im Ausland, und zwar in Connecticut (USA) und Paris (Frankreich). Zusätzlich zu meinem Hauptstudium habe ich das Ergänzungsfach Europa: Sprachen, Wirtschaft und Recht (mit Fokus auf Französisch sowie Europa- und Völkerrecht) gemacht.
