I am a Registered Psychometrician who has worked in an educational institution for several years. I also have four years of experience teaching English and I am TEFL-certified. During my first year of teaching, I became an assessor for young learners. I assess and evaluate their proficiency in the English language. Additionally, I was allowed to teach Business English to young professionals and businesspeople. I help them prepare for exams and presentations and enhance their professional communication. I also help boost their confidence in speaking. Teaching has always been my passion. It allows me to share my knowledge and inspire my students to succeed. During my free time, I read novels and watch movies. I also love traveling and exploring other cultures and trying different cuisines. I majored in Psychology at the university and earned thirty-nine (39) academic units in my master's degree in Psychological Measurement at De La Salle University. I have always been interested in studying Psychology because it is fascinating. It helps us understand human behavior, thoughts, and emotions. It is like uncovering the reason why people behave in a particular way, which can lead to better relationships and communication. I took the board exams to become a Registered Psychometrician in 2015. As a Psychometrician, I specialize in the development, administration and interpretation of psychological tests that measure a variety of attributes such as intelligence, personality and behavior. I play a crucial role in ensuring these tests are scientifically valid, reliable and unbiased. Furthermore, I love teaching the English language as well. Language is a vital tool for communication, and it is amazingly rewarding to help others develop that skill too.

Hi, I’m Elaine Bereña, and I specialize in teaching Mathematics. My teaching journey began as part of my return of service for the scholarship I received during my college years. During that time, I taught various Math subjects, including General Mathematics, Pre-Calculus, Basic Calculus, and Statistics and Probability. In addition to my classroom experience, I also provided tutoring services for college students in higher-level mathematics courses, such as Calculus. Currently, I work as a freelance chat-based tutor, continuing to support students with their learning needs in Mathematics. The satisfaction I feel when a student grasps a challenging concept is incredibly rewarding. I take great pride in contributing to each student’s academic growth, and I view teaching as a reciprocal experience—helping students develop while constantly learning and evolving myself. I hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Batangas State University – The National Engineering University in the Philippines. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in both teaching and the Electrical Engineering industry, with a particular focus on renewable energy. My career spans various roles in engineering, project management, strategic planning, and teaching, equipping me with a versatile skill set and a deep understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of the field. Soy Haja y tengo 27 años. Nací y crecí en un campamento de refugiados, desde ahi me fui a Noruega para hacer el Bachillerato Internacional y luego me fui a los Estados Unidos para terminar mis estudios. Conocí a mucha gente y tengo amigos de todas partes del mundo. Me encanta conocer gente nueva y entender de culturas ajenas. Me gusta escribir durante mi tiempo libre o pasar un rato con amigos tomando té. Suelo también ver novelas turcas. Siempre estoy preparada para aprender cosas nuevas incluso idiomas. Hice el Bachillerato internacional en Noruega y después me fui a los Estados Unidos para terminar mis estudios universitarios. Me gradué el 2020 de Methodist University con tres títulos; Estudios Globales, Relaciones Internacionales y Literatura Española. Durante mis estudios en la universidad trabajé como una tutora de español y enseñaba a los estudiantes extranjeros el idioma. Hablo tres idiomas (Arabe, Inglés y Español) y un poco el turco. Me encanta conocer gente nueva y saber de culturas diferentes y por eso me gusta enseñar a otros.
