Ciao, sono Martina. Sono laureata in Lingue e Letterature Straniere all'Università degli Studi di Milano. Parlo fluentemente 5 lingue, ma quelle che mi appassionano di più sono Inglese e Tedesco, che sono anche quelle che ho studiato all'università. Sono una ragazza allegra, socievole e ironica e adoro parlare e conoscere nuove persone. I miei hobby sono leggere (classici, distopici, fantasy...), ascoltare musica e guardare film (rigorosamente in lingua originale). Un mio punto di forza è mettere i miei studenti a loro agio e riuscire a coinvolgerli in conversazioni con il fine di farli divertire e, sopratutto, aiutarli nel migliorare il loro livello nella lingua studiata. I've been a teacher for 6 years now, handling various subjects in Junior High School and Senior High School, age ranging from 10 to 23 years old. I am also an international coach in Mathematics Olympiad. I have a license as a professional teacher which I acquired last 2018. As an educator, my teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student has the potential to excel when given the right support, guidance, and opportunities to learn. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher certified by Professional Regulation Commission with a Degree in Mathematics and 6 years of experience in managing the workplace and classrooms. I have a degree in Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics where I’ve been honing my skills in teaching and further expanding my knowledge in the field of education. I started this journey in 2019, and completed it this September 2024. I earned my degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Mathematics, in 2018. During my time there, I was a Dean’s Lister, demonstrating my passion and dedication to academic excellence. I graduated as Class Valedictorian during my Elementary and Secondary School. In terms of experience, I’ve been teaching as a Senior High School Teacher II since October 2021. I’ve had the opportunity to handle various subjects, including Mathematics, Practical Research, and Accounting related subjects. Before this, I had a brief stint as a substitute teacher in September 2021, and I also taught for three years at Jose Rizal Institute from 2018 to 2021, teaching Mathematics to both junior and senior high school students. I have already attended various trainings and seminars in Mathematics. Aside from that, I won different competitions in Mathematics, the recent was as a winning coach for National Olympiad and set to compete in International Olympiad. Through my experiences in different teaching environments, I’ve developed a strong foundation in instructional methods and a deep commitment to helping students excel in their academic pursuits. La grande esperienza maturata in molti (davvero molti) anni di insegnamento di italiano, latino e italiano L2 prima nei licei scientifici e classici poi all'Università, in Italia e all’estero, è garanzia per i miei studenti di risultati brillanti e duraturi nel tempo. A Bruxelles, dove ho vissuto per nove anni, ho conseguito, presso l'Alliance Française, anche la certificazione linguistica di livello C1 relativamente alla conoscenza della lingua francese .
