My name is Arcel, and I’m 29 years old. I'm a Math teacher but I can also teach Science (Biology & Chemistry) and Sociology. I like also playing basketball and guitar—two activities that allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. Whether it’s on the basketball court or playing my favorite songs, I enjoy the challenge and the connections these hobbies bring. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, Majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math), and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Teaching Mathematics. My journey in education is driven by my passion for mathematics and my desire to help students see the beauty in the subject. Teaching is something I’m deeply committed to, and I believe that with patience and the right approach, I can inspire students to develop a love for learning. In terms of character, I would describe myself as persistent and disciplined. I try to approach challenges with a positive attitude and always look for ways to grow, both personally and professionally. I value hard work, teamwork, and the idea of never giving up, whether it's in sports or academics. I believe that helping others and being a reliable friend and teacher are some of the most important things I can offer. I strive to be someone who encourages those around me to do their best and reach their full potential. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math) from Northern Mindanao Colleges Inc. in April 2016. Shortly after, I successfully passed the licensure examination for teachers in September 2016. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching Mathematics. My passion for mathematics and my dedication to education drive me to help students discover the beauty and relevance of the subject. Teaching is a profession I am deeply committed to, as I believe it is through education that I can make a lasting impact on students' lives. My goal as an educator is not only to help students master mathematical concepts but also to inspire them to develop a genuine interest in the subject. I understand that many students find math challenging, which is why I believe that patience and the right approach are key to helping them overcome obstacles. With a supportive learning environment, students can build confidence and come to appreciate math as a tool for critical thinking and problem-solving. Hi there! I’m Lorraine Llagas 👩‍🏫 A Passionate Educator. I’ve spent several years in the teaching profession, with most of my career dedicated to teaching Philosophy at the tertiary level. For the past 8 years, I’ve been sharing my love for Social Science with senior high school students. Outside the classroom, I’m passionate about lifelong learning and personal growth. I enjoy seeking new knowledge and skills, diving into various genres of books, striving for self-improvement, staying active and healthy, and exploring new places and cultures. 🎓 My Educational Journey Graduated from the University of Sto. Tomas with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Pursued graduate studies in Philosophy at Ateneo de Manila University. Ich heiße Anna, bin 24 Jahre alt und studiere Sonderpädagogik im Master an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Heidelberg. Als Fächer habe ich Deutsch und Sport gewählt. In meiner Freizeit mache ich viel Sport, treffe mich gerne mit Freunden und bin viel draußen. Als Person würde ich mich sehr offen und kontaktfreudig beschreiben und mag es gerne neue Menschen und Kulturen kennenzulernen. Deshalb ist das Reisen meine große Leidenschaft. Den Lehrberuf habe ich deshalb gewählt, weil ich gerne mit jungen Menschen zusammenarbeite und es mich freut, sie positiv bei ihrer Entwicklung zu unterstützen. Ich habe den Bachelor (1,7) an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Heidelberg abgeschlossen und befinde mich aktuell im Master. Als Fächer habe ich Deutsch unf Sport sowie die sonderpädagogischen Förderschwerpunkte Geistige Entwicklung und Lernen. Seit ich 16 Jahre alt bin gebe ich regelmäßig Nachhilfe in Mathematik und Deutsch. Außerdem unterrichte ich jedes Jahr in den Sommerferien in einem internationalen Sprachcamp das Fach Deutsch. Insgesamt habe ich langjährige Erfahrungen im Bereich der Nachhilfe und habe durch mein Lehramtsstudium die wichtigen Voraussetzungen.

Dann bin ich alleine nach Deutschland gezogen und auf eine Sportschule gewechselt. Ich spiele nämlich sehr professionell Basketball und das war die beste Entscheidung meines Lebens. Dort habe ich dann mein Abi sehr erfolgreich bestanden und studiere jetzt in Amerika an einem College. Ich studiere Sportwissenschaften und gleichzeitig spiele ich nebenbei Basketball dort. Ich bin ein sehr offener, lebensfroher und hilfsbereiter Mensch. Ich liebe es Menschen zu helfen und falls du Nachhilfe in den Bereichen Englisch, Mathematik oder Biologie brauchst, kannst du mich sehr gerne kontaktieren. Dort habe ich dann mein Abi sehr erfolgreich bestanden und studiere jetzt in Amerika an einem College (UNC Greensboro). Ich studiere Sportwissenschaften und gleichzeitig spiele ich nebenbei Basketball dort. Ich habe schon Berufserfahrung, da ich ein 2 wöchiges Praktikum an der Grundschule gemacht habe und im Sommer immer Nachhilfe gebe. Dadurch dass ich in Amerika studiere, würde ich sagen, dass mein Englisch sehr gut ist und deswegen auch mein Spezialgebiet ist. Mathematik und Biologie finde ich allerdings auch sehr interessant und würde ich auch gerne als Nachhilfefächer wählen.
