Hi! I’m Jianne, and I’m excited to guide you through Math, Science, and English. With three years of high school teaching experience, I’ve helped students tackle complex problems, explore scientific concepts, and improve their English skills. In Math, I’ll help you see numbers as useful tools and personalize problem-solving approaches. For Science, we’ll engage in fun activities to explore how things work. In English, we’ll work on reading, writing in various styles, and using words effectively. Teaching is my passion, and I aim to make every lesson interactive and enjoyable. I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics, from a state university, consistently earning a place on the Dean’s List. I’ve completed several teacher training programs, which have enhanced my teaching methods and lesson design skills. This continuous learning allows me to stay updated with the latest teaching practices, ensuring I provide the best education possible. I’m excited to make our time together both productive and inspiring.

I'm literally so overjoyed to have had the amazing opportunity to join GoStudent as a tutor back in April 2023 and I just wanted to elaborate further on my academic and in addition extracurricular skills which have equipped me greatly to be able to shine a light on my own capabilities as well as my weaknesses at this time! I think that I have developed my communication skills via group work with the rest of the tutors and programme coordinators and also have had the privilege to really just go into further detail about what actually makes me tick and I really appreciate how supportive everyone has been in terms of my development and progress thus far. But how about he excitement of sharing a wonderful session with my tutees? We usually discuss the relevance of outside-of-the-box thinking and how phenomenal it is when the student and their loved ones get to choose what will happen during the lesson itself and also set the standards regarding the content to be covered so the sessions are usually quite fun and engaging to be honest! :-) I really enjoyed my time at the UCL School of Pharmacy while studying for the MPharm degree and I am just waiting to be able to sit some deferred final year exams and graduate hopefully quite soon following a recent gap year actually. I did graduate with a first in MSci in Pharmaceutical Studies back in October 2022. Now I am just in the process of applying for medical school and tend to spend my free time on either reading novels, playing the keyboard or making artsy-craftsy notes which will hopefully contribute towards a revision blog that I am starting to establish. I also like going for walks and exploring all sorts of new exciting places within London. I did of course go to Exeter medical school back in 2017 and left (for personal reasons such as the PBL structure of the course) before joining UCL in 2018. This means I am quite agile when it comes to things like discussing interview techniques and CV requirements if needed for individual students. I also tend to motivate my tutees to stay and CONTINUE with what they are doing rather than back away, especially in the face of challenges! This is because I myself wish I hadn't left medicine and now am re-applying so it indicates my perseverence and understanding of the new and surprising aspects of the course! ;)

Hello, my name is Frano, and I teach mathematics and physics at a lower level, GCSE, A-level(IB), and Higher Level. I have been tutoring maths and physics for AQA and Edexel entrance exams, and I also have experience with tutoring pupils from Primary all the way to the A-levels. I am open to tutor students and pupils at any age level. I speak English language fluently, while the Croatian language is my native language. I am also open to teach coding and programming depending on the pupil's/student's level. My approach is very flexible, in a sense that depending on your needs, I adjust our sessions accordingly - whether you need to do drill tasks before the final exam, covering a whole topic, or solving advanced tasks. I am studying towards a Master's in Computer Science and I have completed an undergraduate degree in physics at the University of Leicester. I have been tutoring on platforms MyTutor, GoStudent, Superprof for two years now, and there, I have learned an optimal way of teaching pupils and students, depending on their needs. I have been involved in a lot of mathematics competitions, where I had to explain difficult concepts in a simple manner, so I have experience in explaining and helping pupils and students to describe complex ideas and tasks.

As a tutor, I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. I completed my GCSEs with a strong academic performance, achieving an A* in Mathematics and A*-C grades across all other subjects, reflecting my well-rounded abilities. Building on this foundation, I pursued A-Levels, where I excelled in STEM subjects, securing an A in both Mathematics and Chemistry, and a B in Physics. These results showcase my analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in Maths and Sciences, positioning me well for further study or career opportunities in related fields.
