My name is Arcel, and I’m 29 years old. I'm a Math teacher but I can also teach Science (Biology & Chemistry) and Sociology. I like also playing basketball and guitar—two activities that allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. Whether it’s on the basketball court or playing my favorite songs, I enjoy the challenge and the connections these hobbies bring. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, Majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math), and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Teaching Mathematics. My journey in education is driven by my passion for mathematics and my desire to help students see the beauty in the subject. Teaching is something I’m deeply committed to, and I believe that with patience and the right approach, I can inspire students to develop a love for learning. In terms of character, I would describe myself as persistent and disciplined. I try to approach challenges with a positive attitude and always look for ways to grow, both personally and professionally. I value hard work, teamwork, and the idea of never giving up, whether it's in sports or academics. I believe that helping others and being a reliable friend and teacher are some of the most important things I can offer. I strive to be someone who encourages those around me to do their best and reach their full potential. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math) from Northern Mindanao Colleges Inc. in April 2016. Shortly after, I successfully passed the licensure examination for teachers in September 2016. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching Mathematics. My passion for mathematics and my dedication to education drive me to help students discover the beauty and relevance of the subject. Teaching is a profession I am deeply committed to, as I believe it is through education that I can make a lasting impact on students' lives. My goal as an educator is not only to help students master mathematical concepts but also to inspire them to develop a genuine interest in the subject. I understand that many students find math challenging, which is why I believe that patience and the right approach are key to helping them overcome obstacles. With a supportive learning environment, students can build confidence and come to appreciate math as a tool for critical thinking and problem-solving. Bonjour !! Je m'appelle Aurélie BOUDET, suis diplômée d'un baccalauréat littéraire et d'un double master en langue française et italienne. J’encadre des élèves en primaire, au collège, au lycée et à l'université en français, mais aussi en italien et en histoire de l'art. Comme le métier d'enseignant passe par la transmission de savoirs, je leur prépare des exercices tirés de manuels scolaires conformes au programme pour qu'ils révisent et appliquent leurs leçons, les fait participer par des entraînements oraux ou écrits pour travailler leurs études de texte, leur explique au mieux les notions qu'ils ne comprennent pas bien, et les incite à me poser des questions !! Lorsqu'ils ont des devoirs, je leur demande de bien lire la consigne pour savoir ce qui est attendu et je les laisse réfléchir en autonomie, avant de corriger l'exercice avec eux. La participation est en effet la clé de la progression et de la réussite !! Ainsi, la méthodologie et l'adaptation aux besoins et aux caractères de mes élèves sont mes priorités: pourquoi ? Parce qu'une méthodologie adaptée permet aux élèves de prendre confiance en eux pour progresser et réussir leurs épreuves. Enfin, je suis calme, patiente, souriante, avenante, dynamique et pleine d'énergie positive !! J'adore la danse et le chant, et je marche en montagne dès que le temps le permet. Cela me donne le plein d’énergie pour être en forme tous les jours et donner le meilleur de moi-même aux élèves. Pour finir, je suis une passionnée de langues étrangères puisque je suis bilingue en italien. Depuis que j'ai commencé, tous mes élèves ont eu vraiment de bons résultats tout au long de l'année !! J’ai obtenu un bac littéraire en 2017, puis une licence LLCER en italien durant laquelle j'ai eu l'immense chance de partir à Pise en Italie dans une école de formation des médiateurs linguistiques. J'avais donc beaucoup de cours de traduction, mais aussi de littérature, d'histoire, d'histoire de l'art... Et le 7 décembre 2022, après deux années de master d'études littéraires en langue française et italienne, j'ai été récompensée de mon travail de recherche en traduction de littérature de jeunesse sur la Résistance, ayant traduit quelques récits du livre "O Bella Ciao" de l'italien vers le français !!
