Hi, I’m Elaine Bereña, and I specialize in teaching Mathematics. My teaching journey began as part of my return of service for the scholarship I received during my college years. During that time, I taught various Math subjects, including General Mathematics, Pre-Calculus, Basic Calculus, and Statistics and Probability. In addition to my classroom experience, I also provided tutoring services for college students in higher-level mathematics courses, such as Calculus. Currently, I work as a freelance chat-based tutor, continuing to support students with their learning needs in Mathematics. The satisfaction I feel when a student grasps a challenging concept is incredibly rewarding. I take great pride in contributing to each student’s academic growth, and I view teaching as a reciprocal experience—helping students develop while constantly learning and evolving myself. I hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Batangas State University – The National Engineering University in the Philippines. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in both teaching and the Electrical Engineering industry, with a particular focus on renewable energy. My career spans various roles in engineering, project management, strategic planning, and teaching, equipping me with a versatile skill set and a deep understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of the field. In addition to my technical expertise, I am passionate about bridging the gap between theory and real-world applications, ensuring that students not only develop strong academic foundations but also acquire the practical skills and insights needed to excel in their careers. I believe in providing students with a well-rounded learning experience that prepares them for the dynamic challenges of the engineering world, particularly in emerging sectors like renewable energy. Bonjour ! J'ai enseigné le français à l'université de Passau en Allemagne. Diplômée en allemand et en français (Master 2), j'enseigne l'allemand du primaire au lycée et aux adultes, ainsi que le français du primaire au Brevet. Je donne également des cours de mathématiques aux élèves du primaire et aux élèves dyslexiques. Bonjour à toutes et à tous ! Voici ci-dessous les diplômes dont je suis titulaire : un Certificat d'allemand (Goethe-Zertifikat B1, Prädikat gut (=mention Bien)), un Master 2 de Français Langue Etrangère (mention assez Bien), une Licence de Sciences du Langage (mention assez Bien), un Baccalauréat général (option mathématiques, mention Bien).

Je suis étudiante à l’INSA Lyon et je souhaite profiter de mon temps libre pour partager mon expérience récente du collège/lycée en aidant des élèves motivés! J’ai déjà fait du tutorat en classe de terminal pour des élèves de seconde et cela m’avait beaucoup plu, c’est pourquoi j’aimerais pouvoir le faire de façon plus régulière. J’ai obtenu mon bac général en section européenne avec les spécialités mathématiques et physique-chimie (option maths expertes) avec les félicitations du jury en juin 2022. Je suis actuellement en prépa intégrée à l’INSA Lyon, donc je suis toujours dans un parcours très scientifique mais sans être spécialisée dans un domaine en particulier.
