Ciao, sono Martina. Sono laureata in Lingue e Letterature Straniere all'Università degli Studi di Milano. Parlo fluentemente 5 lingue, ma quelle che mi appassionano di più sono Inglese e Tedesco, che sono anche quelle che ho studiato all'università. Sono una ragazza allegra, socievole e ironica e adoro parlare e conoscere nuove persone. I miei hobby sono leggere (classici, distopici, fantasy...), ascoltare musica e guardare film (rigorosamente in lingua originale). Un mio punto di forza è mettere i miei studenti a loro agio e riuscire a coinvolgerli in conversazioni con il fine di farli divertire e, sopratutto, aiutarli nel migliorare il loro livello nella lingua studiata. La mia passione per le lingue mi ha portato a frequentare il liceo linguistico, dove ho studiato Inglese, Tedesco e Spagnolo per cinque anni. Sono un esperto di mondo russo, Caucaso ed Asia centrale che, dopo aver lavorato per anni in organizzazioni internazionali, è recentemente rientrato in Italia. Da qui lavoro come giornalista, esperto per think-tanks e, parzialmente, quale professore associato alla Webster University di Tashkent (Uzbekistan). Sono felicemente sposato e padre di tre figli. Mi appassionano le lingue, la storia e le culture locali. Ho conseguito la laurea magistrale in Scienze Politiche internazionali con una Tesi di ricerca sulle relazioni fra Russia ed Asia centrale. Mi sono specializzato su quest'ultima regione presso l'Ecole des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) di Parigi dove ho conseguito il mio master (D.E.A. - Asie mineure et intérieure). Nel 2023 ho conseguito un secondo Master quale esperto dei processi educativi in Italia, presso l'Università degli Studi di Torino. Sono giornalista pubblicista per la stampa nazionale (“L’Unità”, “il manifesto”, “Panorama”, “Limes – Rivista Italiana di geopolitica”, “Narcomafie”) ed ed estera (“Monde Rebelles”, "Outreterre").

Hi! I’m Meia, and I’m a passionate English teacher with a degree in English Language Teaching from Pamukkale University. Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in Turkey, teaching both children and adults, which has given me valuable experience in a variety of teaching settings. My journey as an educator has allowed me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and different language proficiency levels, helping them build confidence and fluency in English.
