I've been a teacher for 6 years now, handling various subjects in Junior High School and Senior High School, age ranging from 10 to 23 years old. I am also an international coach in Mathematics Olympiad. I have a license as a professional teacher which I acquired last 2018. During my time there, I was a Dean’s Lister, demonstrating my passion and dedication to academic excellence. I graduated as Class Valedictorian during my Elementary and Secondary School. In terms of experience, I’ve been teaching as a Senior High School Teacher II since October 2021. I’ve had the opportunity to handle various subjects, including Mathematics, Practical Research, and Accounting related subjects. Before this, I had a brief stint as a substitute teacher in September 2021, and I also taught for three years at Jose Rizal Institute from 2018 to 2021, teaching Mathematics to both junior and senior high school students. I have already attended various trainings and seminars in Mathematics. Aside from that, I won different competitions in Mathematics, the recent was as a winning coach for National Olympiad and set to compete in International Olympiad. Through my experiences in different teaching environments, I’ve developed a strong foundation in instructional methods and a deep commitment to helping students excel in their academic pursuits. Hi, I’m Elaine Bereña, and I specialize in teaching Mathematics. My teaching journey began as part of my return of service for the scholarship I received during my college years. During that time, I taught various Math subjects, including General Mathematics, Pre-Calculus, Basic Calculus, and Statistics and Probability. In addition to my classroom experience, I also provided tutoring services for college students in higher-level mathematics courses, such as Calculus. Currently, I work as a freelance chat-based tutor, continuing to support students with their learning needs in Mathematics. The satisfaction I feel when a student grasps a challenging concept is incredibly rewarding. Sono la dottoressa Eleonora Paolella, ho 30 anni, e sono una biologa abilitata. Da sempre molto appassionata alle materie scientifiche, in particolare alla biologia applicata all'ambito clinico, sia nella diagnosi che nella ricerca scientifica. La mia passione per la scienza mi ha motivata nel corso degli anni da studentessa a trasmettere il fascino delle conoscenze scientifiche a ragazzi della scuola secondaria di II grado che si affacciano per la prima volta nel loro percorso formativo a tali conoscenze. Inoltre, da circa 1 anno su tale piattaforma ho avuto modo di perfezionare nelle oltre 500 lezioni svolte la mia tecnica di insegnamento e di sviluppare un linguaggio scientifico adatto alle diverse fasce d'età. Ho svolto gran parte delle mie lezione con studenti della scuola secondaria di II grado sia in chimica che in biologia e con diversi studenti universitari soprattutto negli svariati campi della biologia. Nell'insegnamento della biologia ho avuto modo di supportare i miei studenti in argomenti di biologia cellulare, citologia, genetica, evoluzione, anatomia, istologia e tanto altro. Nell'insegnamento della chimica ho svolto le mie lezioni spaziando tra la chimica inorganica ( es. struttura dell'atomo, mole, acidi/basi, reazioni ed altro) e la chimica organica (es. nomenclatura, reazioni, ecc.). Nell'insegnamento della chimica associo sempre alla spiegazione teorica lo svolgimento di esercizi "in live" con lo studente grazie al supporto della lavagna digitale. Cerco di rende il più interattive possibile le mie lezioni in modo da stimolare lo studente e combattere la noia dello studio cercando piuttosto di appassionare alla bellezza degli argomenti trattati. Mi ritengo una persona molto paziente e attenta al rispetto dei tempi e delle modalità di apprendimento dello studente cercando sempre di soddisfare l'esigenze dello studente nel migliore dei modi. La mia formazione parte dal diploma classico e successiva laurea magistrale con lode in Biologia presso l'università degli studi di Napoli Federico II. Durante il percorso di studio ho svolto uno stage formativo in ambito diagnostico, occupandomi in particolare dell'esecuzione di esami di anatomia patologica. Inoltre, ho svolto un tirocinio formativo occupandomi di ricerca scientifica, in particolare nello studio dei tumori della tiroide. Da passionata della biologia a 360° ho approfondito con successo l'applicazione della biologia nella pratica forense studiando la Genetica Forense. Nel futuro prevedo di approfondire le miei conoscenze biologiche nell'ambito della patologia clinica, nel quale aspiro a costruire il mio futuro professionale.
