Hi! I am Lyka Anne I. Gabuat, I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education degree, specializing in Teaching Mathematics to middle school and high school students. For 6 years, I have taught math courses to senior high school students, specifically Calculus, Statistics and Probabilities and General Mathematics. I also have a short but extensive experience teaching IB, A-level and IGCSE math’ through an after-school program in China. At present, I am an online private tutor catering students who are struggling in mathematics. At present, I’m a freelance private math tutor. Ich studiere Biophysik und Kognitionswissenschaften an einer Uni in den USA und bin zurzeit für das Schreiben meiner Bachelorarbeit in Deutschland. Frontalunterricht in der Schule fiel mir immer schwer, und daher habe ich mich früh mit effektiveren Lernmethoden auseinandergesetzt. In der Nachhilfe lege ich viel Wert auf Austausch und kooperatives Lernen. Wenn wir die Themen gemeinsam auf eine spielerische Art erlernen, bleibt es am Ende besser in den Köpfen, wir haben Spaß, und die guten Noten folgen ganz automatisch.
