My academic background has been the foundation for my professional journey in both the fields of guidance counseling and education. As a Guidance Counselor, I had the privilege of supporting students' personal, academic, and social development. I facilitated individual and group counseling sessions, working closely with students to address their challenges and develop strategies for resilience and growth. My role also involved collaborating with parents and teachers to create tailored interventions that promoted the holistic development of each student. I am particularly passionate about fostering mental health awareness and empowering young individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential. Currently, I apply my skills as an Online ESL Teacher, helping non-native speakers improve their English proficiency. In this role, I develop engaging lesson plans tailored to students' learning needs and goals. I focus on creating a supportive and interactive environment that encourages confidence in speaking, writing, and comprehension. This experience has further enhanced my ability to communicate effectively across cultures, adapt to diverse learning styles, and motivate students to succeed. My dual experience as a counselor and educator has strengthened my commitment to empowering individuals, whether by addressing their emotional and psychological needs or by equipping them with the tools for effective communication. Hallo! Ich bin Lara und studiere seit 2023 Chemie. In meiner Freizeit lese ich oft, vor allem auf Englisch, oder verbringe Zeit mit Freunden. Gerne geh ich auch meinen kreativen Hobbys nach und spiele Flügelhorn. Nebenbei lege ich viel Wert auf einen Ausgleich zum Lernen und betreibe regelmäßig Sport, am besten in der Natur. 2023 habe ich die Matura mit ausgezeichnet Erfolg abgeschlossen. Dabei bin ich mündlich in den Fächern Mathe, Chemie und Biologie angetreten. Da ich acht Jahre lang ein Klasse mit "Englisch als Arbeitssprache" besucht habe, konnte ich die mündliche Matura auf Englisch ablegen und beherrsche Englisch sehr gut. Dies unterstützt auch mein Cambridge C1 Certificate, welches ich mit Grade A (beste Note) abgeschlossen hab. Auch Mathematik war schon immer eine meiner großen Stärken und so habe ich die schriftliche und mündliche Matura mit "Sehr gut" bestanden. Meine größte Interesse ist und bleibt jedoch die Chemie, weshalb ich auch Chemie studiere und während meiner Schulzeit als Zusatzaktivität an der "Chemie Olympiade" teilgenommen habe. Durch mein anspruchsvolles Studium hab ich für mich gute lern Strategien entwickelt und möchte diese weiter geben!

Hi, I’m Nicole, an energetic and passionate English teacher! I love helping students learn language in interesting and creative ways. I use engaging discussions, interactive activities, and hands-on projects to help them connect with the lessons and express themselves confidently. My goal is to build a classroom environment that is fun, inclusive, and encouraging for every learner. I believe that learning should be meaningful and enjoyable, and I do my best to make each class exciting and supportive. In my free time, I enjoy watching musical theatre shows and Broadway musicals, spending time with my dog, and volunteering with an organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for stray animals. These hobbies keep me motivated and full of positive energy in the classroom. I graduated with a degree in Communication Arts. My education equipped me with strong communication skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of media and interpersonal dynamics. Throughout my teaching journey, I have taught students of various age groups—from children to adults—across different English proficiency levels. I have also had the opportunity to work with learners with special needs, including those with ADHD, Autism, and Down Syndrome. Ich bin Anne und unterrichte Mathematik und Wirtschaft und Recht. In meiner Freizeit bin ich gern mit dem Rad unterwegs, koche gern und spiele gern Gesellschaftsspiele.
