Hello there! I'm Rochelle and I'm excited to be your tutor! I have a degree in Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics and also a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics. I've been a teacher for 6 years now, handling various subjects in Junior High School and Senior High School, age ranging from 10 to 23 years old. I am also an international coach in Mathematics Olympiad. I have a license as a professional teacher which I acquired last 2018. As an educator, my teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student has the potential to excel when given the right support, guidance, and opportunities to learn. My role as a teacher is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel confident to express their ideas, take risks, and explore their potential. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher certified by Professional Regulation Commission with a Degree in Mathematics and 6 years of experience in managing the workplace and classrooms. I have a degree in Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics where I’ve been honing my skills in teaching and further expanding my knowledge in the field of education. I started this journey in 2019, and completed it this September 2024. I earned my degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Mathematics, in 2018. During my time there, I was a Dean’s Lister, demonstrating my passion and dedication to academic excellence. I graduated as Class Valedictorian during my Elementary and Secondary School. In terms of experience, I’ve been teaching as a Senior High School Teacher II since October 2021. I’ve had the opportunity to handle various subjects, including Mathematics, Practical Research, and Accounting related subjects. Before this, I had a brief stint as a substitute teacher in September 2021, and I also taught for three years at Jose Rizal Institute from 2018 to 2021, teaching Mathematics to both junior and senior high school students. I have already attended various trainings and seminars in Mathematics. Aside from that, I won different competitions in Mathematics, the recent was as a winning coach for National Olympiad and set to compete in International Olympiad. Through my experiences in different teaching environments, I’ve developed a strong foundation in instructional methods and a deep commitment to helping students excel in their academic pursuits. I am a Registered Psychometrician who has worked in an educational institution for several years. I also have four years of experience teaching English and I am TEFL-certified. During my first year of teaching, I became an assessor for young learners. I assess and evaluate their proficiency in the English language. Additionally, I was allowed to teach Business English to young professionals and businesspeople. I help them prepare for exams and presentations and enhance their professional communication. I also help boost their confidence in speaking. Teaching has always been my passion. It allows me to share my knowledge and inspire my students to succeed. During my free time, I read novels and watch movies. I also love traveling and exploring other cultures and trying different cuisines. I majored in Psychology at the university and earned thirty-nine (39) academic units in my master's degree in Psychological Measurement at De La Salle University. I have always been interested in studying Psychology because it is fascinating. It helps us understand human behavior, thoughts, and emotions. It is like uncovering the reason why people behave in a particular way, which can lead to better relationships and communication. I took the board exams to become a Registered Psychometrician in 2015. As a Psychometrician, I specialize in the development, administration and interpretation of psychological tests that measure a variety of attributes such as intelligence, personality and behavior. I play a crucial role in ensuring these tests are scientifically valid, reliable and unbiased. Furthermore, I love teaching the English language as well. Language is a vital tool for communication, and it is amazingly rewarding to help others develop that skill too.

Als langjähriger tätige Studienrätin für Mathematik und Kunst an unterschiedlichen Bildungseinrichtungen wie Gymnasien und VHS bin ich seit 2017 freiberuflich als künstlerisch-wissenschaftliche Fotografin und Privatlehrerin tätig. Ich freue mich auf die neue Herausforderung hier bei GoStudent. Ich habe Mathematik an der Universität Potsdam studiert und als Studienrätin langjährig am Gymnasium unterrichtet sowie seit 1993 parallel als Privatlehrerin für ABACUS. Dort unterrichte ich Schüler und junge Erwachsene in Mathematik, Deutsch, Englisch und bei Bedarf auch in anderen Fächern. Seit 2022 bin ich MINT Ambassador und seit 2024 Ambassador of Art.
