Hi, I am Naomi and I am thrilled to be your online tutor. I have had the pleasure of working with students from different ages and backgrounds. I am a tutor for Mathematics and my target students are primary to secondary students. Everyone has a unique learning style, and I like to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. I use the online interactive whiteboard for lessons which allows both parties to write, annotate or highlight on the screen. The work for every lesson is carefully designed to suit each individual's need which is identified from initial assessment and ongoing observations. I enjoy teaching because I love helping students to develop their skills and achieve their academic goals. I am a retired teacher who loves teaching. Now I work a four day week tutoring online, helping students understand their course and prepare for the exams. It is encouraging to hear how my students get on and there is a satisfaction in knowing that I have helped them experience exam success. Working Monday to Thursday I have a timetable which I fit my students into. This makes me reliable which is an important factor in choosing a tutor. My sessions are usually early afternoon (2pm on) to early evening (7 or 8pm). To accommodate home schoolers I do offer Wednesday mornings (10am, 11am or 12pm) so if you are studying at home and would like an early session I offer Weds.
