Hi! My name is Marjana! I am currently an undergraduate student at Aston University. I am a dedicated maths tutor who aims to make each and every lesson fun and interactive. I love teaching and proving to students that learning maths can be fun! I have successfully delivered over 700 lessons with Gostudent, helping many students improve not only their grades but also their confidence when it comes to learning and studying! I’ve previously worked as a teaching assistant, helping students between year 7 and year 11 in maths. Working in a school environment has allowed me to identify where students struggle in maths. I have planned and structured maths lessons which has aided my tutoring online. I have experience working with children of all ages, as I have a Level 3 Qualification in teaching Sports. I have tutored students of a variety of abilities, including children with learning difficulties. I aim to cater every lesson to the student's particular needs. I tutor maths from primary level up to GCSE, while also tutoring English at primary level. I also work with students taking their 11+ or higher exams. I can also tutor students who are taking Business Studies GCSE/ A-level. I am Augustine, a Psychology student at the University of Bath in England, and I am eager to continue teaching French to those in need of extra support, just as I did with my younger peers in high school. I've been a GoStudent tutor for two years now, and have earned more experience working with much younger students, as well as adult learners. I can also teach English as a second language for those visiting from the French website! I am fluent in both English and French as I come from a bicultural home, and have grown up in the US, the UK, and France. With a decade of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full academic potential. I utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials, including online resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed. My approach focuses on guiding students toward their educational goals, whether transitioning to postsecondary education, pursuing vocational paths, or achieving personal growth. I continuously assess and document both the academic and social progress of my students, maintaining thorough records and analyzing data to inform my teaching strategies.
