Hi, I’m a dedicated and experienced maths tutor with a strong track record of helping students succeed from Key Stage 3 all the way through to A-Level. I've been a qualified maths teacher for seven years and have held leadership roles as both KS5 Leader and Head of Department in a large combined secondary school and sixth form. This experience has allowed me to develop schemes of learning and gain in-depth knowledge of the curriculum and assessment requirements across all secondary stages. My strong curriculum knowledge is supported by a degree in Mathematics. I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with QTS at the University of Buckingham in 2020, while working full time in a large combined secondary school and sixth form with a full teaching timetable. Prior to this, I graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, specialising in Applied Mathematics. My earlier studies were at Hills Road Sixth Form College, where I achieved A grades in A-Level Mathematics, Business, Geography, and the Extended Project Qualification. Before this, I completed my GCSEs at Thetford Grammar School, securing an A* in Mathematics, seven A grades, and one B.

There are 2 things I have loved all my life- reading and music. As such, I play 3 instruments (Trombone, Guitar and Piano), love to sing all kinds of music and dance as often as I can. I also love reading all kinds of things- from Journal articles, to English literature, manga to comic books and even encyclopaedias about insects and animals! I also rather love technology, and love using technology to learn and help others learn. Furthermore, I like talking to different people and I'm a good listener. I have acquired a level 5 TEFL qualification, certified by Qualifi. I have a Bachelors and Honours in Chiropractic and have just completed my Masters in Chiropractic, making me a fully qualified practitioner. My Masters requires me to complete an original dissertation to be able to qualify and the findings of my dissertation are going to be published in a local journal later this year.

While I'm new to tutoring, my fresh perspective and enthusiasm for teaching are matched by a strong understanding of the subjects I teach. Went to Nower Hill High School and completed 11 GCSEs with grades 9 in Maths, Physics and Computer Science and grades 8 in Further Maths, Chemistry and Business Studies. Just completed A level in Maths Physics and Computer Science at Nower Hill in 2024.
