About Me Hello! My name is Mary Ann Suizo, and I am a dedicated and passionate educator with a love for fostering growth and curiosity in students. I have always believed in the transformative power of education, and my goal is to create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive environment where every student feels empowered to succeed. With experience in Mathematics areas such as General Mathematics and Statistics and Probability, also in Science for General Physics 1 and 2, I aim to inspire a love of learning and develop critical thinking skills that students can carry with them throughout their lives. Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing Lawn Tennis as my sports and Reading and Studying nonfiction books especially an inspirational and motivational true to life journey which help me stay balanced and bring fresh perspectives to my teaching. Education I hold a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a Post-Baccalaureate in Teacher Education with a major in Mathematics. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Education, also with a major in Mathematics which provided me with a solid foundation in both pedagogical theory and subject-specific knowledge. Through my studies, I developed a strong understanding of how to create lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs, while also fostering a positive classroom environment. Additionally, I have participated in professional development trainings, seminars and workshops for the past years, ensuring that I stay updated with the latest teaching strategies and educational tools. My educational journey continues as I strive to refine my skills and become a better teacher for my students every day.

I have a solid educational background, which has provided me with valuable insights and knowledge. Alongside my academic achievements, I’m also dedicated to fitness and regularly attend the gym to maintain both my physical and mental well-being. Hi, I’m Marianne M. Salado, a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education and a TEFL-certified teacher. I am a friendly, patient and determined tutor. I recently finished my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. I believe that this experience puts me in a great position to share my knowledge to help other students because I know what is needed in order to excel in these subjects. I always like to focus on what you as a student need help with to ensure that you get the most out of every lesson, and spend as much time making progress as possible I would describe myself as methodical and systematic and I think my teaching style reflects this. First, I like to ensure that there is an understanding of the key principles of the topic. Then I like to break questions down and look at the key steps in the method for that question type. I think that repetition is extremely important and the key to mastering a particular topic is encountering as many different variations of questions as possible. So this is what I will encourage. I have previous experience teaching other students from my school A-level maths concepts which they struggled with. While preparing for A-levels I created some resources that enabled me to achieve 4 A*s in the subjects above and have helped other students. I would be happy to share these and other strategies I used in preparation for exams. Outside of academics, I am a relaxed person and enjoy a wide range of sports, my favourites being football and basketball. I also enjoy reading and spending time with family.
