Hi there! My name is Molly, and I am a 22 year old graduate from the University of Manchester currently living in London. I studied History, a subject that I feel has equipped me with numerous transferable skills that make me an excellent tutor. It is analytical, requires the development of strong verbal and non-verbal reasoning skills, and the ability to build structured responses to fascinating and relevant topical themes. On a more personal note, I would like to pursue a career in teaching, and gaining experience in working one on one with students would be a positive addition to building up my confidence and abilities. However, I’m not the only one that would benefit from tutoring, I think you would too! I then went to Trinity School in Croydon for sixth form and obtained a 50% academic scholarship, both the highest scholarship offered, and a rare one to receive. I was awarded an A* in my Politics A-level, and two A’s in both History and Religious Studies. Finally, I studied History at the University of Manchester and obtained a 2:1 (second class, division one).

Hello! My name is Shruti and I have always been fascinated by technology and how it shapes the world we live in. I have a strong passion for mathematics and science. I enjoy the challenges of solving complex problems and finding different solutions, which strengthen analytical thinking as well as problem-solving skills. I believe this is very important because it helps us to understand problems better and enables us to break them down into smaller, more manageable parts, which is also very crucial to learn. This also allows us to evaluate options logically instead of just guessing. Alongside this, I love listening to music. Listening to different genres helps me to relax and stay motivated; it also enhances my focus, concentration and memory. For me, music also works by blocking out distractions and creating a very steady rhythm for the brain to follow, which further increases my level of concentration. I also enjoy learning different languages because I believe this helps with connecting to different people from diverse backgrounds. Cognitively, learning a new language strengthens memory, problem-solving skills, as well as concentration. Altogether, these skills helped me to build confidence and independence. Therefore, I became better at explaining new ideas clearly and in an easily understandable way. I also became better at learning new things and finding solutions quickly to different problems. This is extremely essential in fields like engineering and tutoring! Throughout my academic years, I have attended Queen Mary's High School, and after that, I attended Queen Mary's Grammar School for sixth form. Currently, I am a first year Computer Engineering Student at the University of Birmingham.During my school years and university so far, I have completed assignments, projects which have helped me to develop my analytical thinking skills and experience explaining difficult concepts easily.
