I believe that though hard work you can achieve anything you put your mind too! I am currently studying a Biomedical Engineering degree, but having only recently left secondary education I hope that I will be able to support and guide students towards their goals. I offer Biology, Physics and Maths. I studied my GCSEs and A-levels at my local secondary school, I received 4 As at A-level (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). I have always enjoyed science and Maths hence why I decided to study Biomedical Engineering at the Univeristy of Sheffield.

Erin B.

Hi! I’m Erin, a 20 year old full time University student studying a masters degree in Astrophysics at the University of Birmingham. I love musicals and performing with my accapella group at uni. I also do a lot of running and love playing ice hockey. I attended Aquinas College, Stockport. Here I obtained an A* in A-level Physics and an A in A-level Chemistry and Maths. I also have 10 GCSEs, with a 9 in Physics, Biology and Food Preparation and Technology, along with 8/7 in all other subjects. Last summer I spent a week completing work experience as a Scientific Communicator at Kielder Observatory, where I helped out and led events teaching all about space to the public. Finally, I have spent the last year tutoring a GCSE student in Higher Separate Physics and Higher Mathematics.

I am specialising in Immunology and Infectious Disease and am particularly interested in drug discovery and public health. I am really passionate about studying and communicating science in a clear and engaging way! Attended Northampton High School (GDST) where I obtained 99998 in GCSE Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English language and Maths. I then went on to complete A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. In my second year I plan to specialise in Immunology and Infectious disease where I will be studying modules such as Cancer Cell Biology, Drug Discovery and Development as well as Medical Microbiology. Having spent the last 5 years undergoing rigorous examinations, university entrances as well as having to grasp vast amounts of difficult scientific content, I believe I am well-equipped to help others in similar positions.
