Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.

Hi! I am currently a 3rd year Chemical Engineering student at Imperial College London with a strong background in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics and I enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts by simplifying them in a clear and engaging way. My goal is to build confidence and make learning enjoyable. I am currently in my penultimate year of a Master’s in Chemical Engineering (MEng) at Imperial College London, on track for a First Class. I’ve excelled in key modules such as Engineering Mathematics and Reaction Engineering, and I’m a recipient of both the President’s Undergraduate Scholarship and the Faculty of Engineering UROP Bursary. Before university, I studied at Wilson’s School, where I achieved 4 A*s at A-Level in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and 8 grade 9s at GCSE. My academic journey reflects my strong foundation in STEM and passion for engineering.

Preferred student age group: All age groups. My name is Marian, I am a 6th-year medical student with a solid foundation in science. I am competent at tutoring pupils in the Irish educational system up to the Leaving Certificate. As a tutor, I've always felt driven to go above and beyond the curriculum's standards to make sure the student thoroughly understands the material. In order to assist the students, I want to first earn their trust by showing them that I have their best interests at heart. I then want to work really hard with them, urge them to give their all, and ensure that they remain motivated throughout. In my classes, I make sure that the lesson is first clearly explained to the students, beginning with the basics and making sure they understand it. From there, I build on that knowledge but most importantly, a foundation should be built. Finally, I give the student an opportunity to explain back to me and switch roles, pretending to be the teacher and teaching me what was learned. The pupils will be offered enjoyable quizzes or games related to the topics taught to help them relax and stop feeling like learning something new is a chore in order to better reinforce the knowledge they have already acquired. The subjects won't be covered only once. It will be explained in class and then summarized at the end. The first few minutes of the following lesson will be used to review what was previously taught. The third time will follow a few weeks later to help with memory recall. There will also be constant reference to earlier lessons if the topics are connected. I have a thorough understanding of the Irish leaving certificate curriculum, not just because I went through it myself, but also because of my experience tutoring students of all ages, particularly junior and leaving certificate students for the past four years. As a result, I have knowledge of the subjects and crucial exam tips, specifically by going over past exam papers with students. Any kid I have taught has experienced a significant increase in their grades from the beginning of the year to the end. I anticipate at least a two-grade improvement for every student who works with me. whenever I provide tests. To give students a realistic rating, I do my best to grade them in accordance with the standards of the junior/leaving certificate. Throughout the classes, these marking criteria will be applied to identify improvements that are also realistic. Because I am very organized in terms of what is required for the lesson and all the materials that will be utilized, delivering tutoring online has never been an issue for me or my pupils. I make an effort to keep the experience as similar as possible to in-person tuition. I will stay in touch with the parents on a regular basis to address any worries they might have, any observations I might have about the student, and to keep them informed about the classes.

Hello, I am Felecia Rowe a University graduate from the University of Technology with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Applied Science with forensic chemistry. I am currently a teacher of science and chemistry base in the UK and have a passion for what I do. My aim is to allow students to recognize and aim for their highest potential. I will make it my duty to ensure that lessons taught are tailored to individual students and plans put in place so that students feel a sense of safety in the learning environment created. I hold a BSC in Applied Science with Forensic Chemistry and have been teaching the sciences for the past 5years. I specialize in chemistry, and is able to tutor biology and physics up to GCSE. I have been tutoring with go student for the past 2 1/2 years and have gained all the necessary skill set to ensure that my student get the best grade and the end of year 11.
