Hello! This is Quratu Layan Choudhry. I’m a passionate and highly experienced educator with over 11 years of teaching experience across all grade levels. My primary focus is on English Language and English Literature, particularly at GCSE level, where I specialise in preparing students for the AQA exam board. I’ve worked extensively with students of all abilities, helping them to build confidence, improve their analytical and writing skills, and achieve excellent results through carefully structured, engaging lessons tailored to their individual needs. In addition to English, I have also spent many years teaching Science—with a particular emphasis on Physics—and Geography, providing a well-rounded academic foundation for students in Key Stages 3 and 4. My ability to teach across multiple subject areas allows me to make meaningful interdisciplinary connections that help students see the bigger picture and understand how different fields of knowledge relate to each other. I hold a CELTA qualification from Cambridge University, a globally respected certification for teaching English to speakers of other languages. I have been tutoring with GoStudent for a couple of months now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a former Sunday-School teacher and volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Prior to my degree, I took three A-Levels in History, Maths and English, receiving all A*s, and prior to that, ten GCSEs, receiving all 9s.

Hello! I’m Kyrie Zalyn, an educator with a strong foundation in Psychology and over five years of teaching experience for both English and Math. What drives me as a teacher is my passion for helping students realize their full potential—academically and personally. My approach blends structure with creativity, making learning both meaningful and enjoyable. With a background in psychology, I understand how students think, learn, and stay motivated. I use that knowledge to design lessons that are engaging, interactive, and tailored to each learner’s pace and personality. Whether it’s refining communication skills or solving complex equations, I aim to create a space where students feel confident, curious, and capable. Beyond teaching, I’m a professional chess master and a language enthusiast—constantly learning, just like my students. I believe that the best classrooms are built on connection, encouragement, and growth, and I strive to bring that energy into every session. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. I’m also a certified TEFL teacher with over five years of experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and learning levels. In addition to teaching, I’ve led teams as a chess athlete and coach with a title of "Woman National Master" in the field of chess. Also, I continue to grow by exploring new languages and learning strategies. Currently working in Finance in the NHS.Previously , working as a class teacher in a Primary school . I have been tutoring maths and all sciences for 8 years. I have experience working with ages from 5-16 and also experienced working with SEN students. Throughout the pandemic, I have been tutoring online, therefore, having an understanding of how to keep students engaged . I also teach 11+ to students who would like to join grammar schools and independent schools and private schools. Achieved A*-A’s in GCses for maths and triple science . Continued with maths and science into A-levels. Also studied further maths at GCses and also able to teach it . Can also help with student who study Statistics GCSE. I can also aid in 11+ students as i am familiar.
