Hello! I'm Fintan, I'm a 2nd year student at Cardiff University studying Financial Mathematics (BSc) - Primarily a further development into the field of Maths, with some time spent learning about Corporate management and Investment Management. My teaching approach focuses on consolidating knowledge and encouraging critical thinking. To excel in A-Level Maths, it is important to not only know the content, but for it to feel like second nature, so that when it comes to higher level questions, you can identify and apply the methods confidently. I attended Devonport High School for Boys from 2016 to 2023. Achieving a 9 in mathematics at GCSE level and an A in mathematics at A-level. Lower level: Maths and 11+ (entrance and SATs) GCSE: Biology (AQA would be preferred) and Maths I am fluent in Turkish and currently learning French. My preferred age groups would be 11-16 (up until GCSE) I am 22 years old, with a lot of educational experience surrounding Maths and Science that I would love to transfer to my students. I believe that learning should be fun for all and strive to ensure my students are enjoying their individually tailored lessons. My hobbies include going to the gym and baking. I am a second year Physician Associate Master’s student with a background in Biomedical Sciences (Immunology).
