Hello, I’m Shella L. Complito, a mathematics teacher with nearly three years of experience. I specialize in teaching students at the primary and high school levels, using the Singaporean teaching method, which focuses on deep conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. I’m passionate about making math accessible and enjoyable because I firmly believe that math isn’t as difficult as many perceive it to be. Often, it’s just a matter of shifting the mindset. I am dedicated to helping every student overcome their challenges and build confidence in their abilities. For me, teaching isn’t just about solving equations—it’s about fostering a love for learning and helping students realize that they are capable of achieving great things in math and beyond. I attended Universidad de Manila, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics. My specialization is in teaching math, with a focus on helping students at the grade school and high school levels develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. Bonjour ! Je m'appelle April et en ce qui me concerne j'adore le sport, j'en ai fait pendant très longtemps et surtout les sports d'équipe. J'ai effectué pendant 12 ans de la pelote basque (un sport de ma région) mais aussi du volley-ball pendant 5 ans puis également du fitness, de la natation et j'en passe... J'aime aussi beaucoup prendre du temps pour moi, lire et profiter de mon entourage. Mais les études restent primordiales dans la réalisation de nos projets alors ce serait un plaisir de mettre à profit mon parcours scolaire et de t'aider dans tes cours et tes devoirs ! Ma manière de travailler est plutôt simple. J'aime recevoir les cours/devoirs à l'avance afin de savoir au préalable ce sur quoi nous allons travailler. Ensuite, je verrai avec toi tes difficultés (difficultés de compréhension, d'application aux exercices, d'apprentissage...) et on établira la meilleure manière de remédier à cela. Si par exemple ta difficulté est la mise en application, on optera pour davantage d'exercices d'application pour comprendre le mécanisme. Si la difficulté est plutôt axée sur la compréhension du cours, on le reprendra ensemble, car l'expliquer avec d'autres mots peut parfois être un déclic. Mon principe premier est de prendre le temps : je préfère m'assurer que tu ressortes de notre séance en ayant compris plutôt que d'avoir coché toutes nos tâches mais que tu restes confus(e). Au plaisir de t'avoir comme élève ! À propos de mes études, j'étudie à Nantes à Audencia Business School depuis septembre 2022. Je viens de m'engager dans un Master Audit et Expertise comptable que je réalise depuis septembre 2024 en alternance. Avant de préparer ce Master, je suis passée par 2 ans de Classe Préparatoire aux Grandes Écoles, options économie et mathématiques mais cette formation ne délivre aucun diplôme si ce n'est l'entrée dans les Écoles que j'ai présentées aux concours. En 2020, j'ai obtenu mon baccalauréat ES (Économique et Social anciennement, avant la réforme) mention très bien. Pendant mes 3 années de lycée j'ai choisi l'option italien, qui était pour moi une LV3.
