Ich heiße Sophia, bin 23 Jahre alt und studiere Psychologie im Master. Ich komme aus Niederbayern, wohne aber derzeit in Florenz in Italien, da ich hier ein Auslandssemester mache. Ich bin ein absoluter Natur-Liebhaber, gehe sehr gerne spazieren und wandern. Außerdem gehört das Reisen zu meinen Hobbys. Seit ich 6 Jahre alt bin spiele ich Fußball im Verein. Ich gehe sehr gerne tanzen oder unternehme etwas mit meinen Freunden. Sprachen sind meine Leidenschaft: ich spreche fließend italienisch und englisch und will dieses Jahr mein Französisch (welches in der Schule gelernt habe) wieder aufbessern. Ich lese und koche gerne. Ich habe mein Abitur am Gymnasium in Vilshofen gemacht und mit der Note 1,3 abgeschlossen. Danach habe ich an der Universität Regensburg meinen Bachelor of Science in Psychologie gemacht. Aktuell befinde ich mich in den letzten Zügen meines Masters in Psychologie. Schon seit der Oberstufe gebe ich nebenbei Nachhilfe in den Fächern Englisch und Mathe. Aktuell bin ich im Auslandssemester in Italien, weshalb ich mittlerweile auch sehr gutes Italienisch spreche.

Hi! I am Lyka Anne I. Gabuat, I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education degree, specializing in Teaching Mathematics to middle school and high school students. For 6 years, I have taught math courses to senior high school students, specifically Calculus, Statistics and Probabilities and General Mathematics. I also have a short but extensive experience teaching IB, A-level and IGCSE math’ through an after-school program in China. At present, I am an online private tutor catering students who are struggling in mathematics. At present, I’m a freelance private math tutor. I like to see my students have fun as they learn new ideas and concepts. I believe that every student is unique, and it's our responsibility as educators to nurture their individual strengths and help them reach their full potential. I graduated from University of Baguio, Philippines last may of 2016 and got my teaching license the same year. I worked in the same University from August 2016 - December 2022 as Senior High School math teacher. I went to China in the following year to tutor International students and come back for personal reasons. At the moment, I'm a freelance Math tutor catering primary school to senior high school students thru online and face-to-face platform. I am also a unit earner (25 units) in Masters in Education Major in Mathematics. In addition, I have B2 level Certificate in International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
