I am an effective tutor. I’ve worked with SEN students including students with; dyscalculia, ADHD, dyslexia and autism. Whether you are looking to increase your grade by a little, or a lot I am here to get you to that full potential. I can teach GCSE maths. I work based on the students’ needs and I am very much able to adapt to their preferred learning style. As I am a visual learner myself, I work with students particularly through diagrams, visual aids and in depth examples, drawn on interactive whiteboards as well as analogies to explain concepts required for their curriculum and more importantly, the final exam. Practice exam and past paper questions are key to unlocking the higher grades, and so I always integrate questions throughout the teaching of content during lesson to ensure the student understands and digests what they have learnt properly through application, you will never be short of exam practice in one of my lessons, as that is how the real exam will be like. There is always an open door policy to ask whatever questions you need to, whether that is in or out of lesson time, no question is too big or small. I look forward to guiding you into achieve the academic potential you and I know you are capable of. I achieved 5 grades 9’s and 5 grade 8’s at GCSE, this includes: - A 9 in Maths and Chemistry - An 8 in Biology and Physics. My A-levels are as follows: - B in Biology - B in Chemistry. - B In Maths I am currently a first year Biomedical Science Student, and am teaching: - GCSE MATHS

GCSE: English Literature and Language A Level: English Literature and Language Experience with: Welsh and English schooling system Preferred student age group: Primary level Ever since my parents introduced me to the world of Roald Dahl and Beatrix Potter, my love for English language and literature has exponentially increased. Before moving to London for university, I lived on a farm in Wales with my family - and many cats! Due to babysitting my two younger cousins for the last five years, I have realised that I love to work with children. I am in awe of their ability to view the world from a perspective so different from the regular adult we encounter every day. My favourite book of all time is 'Silence of the Girls' by Pat Barker. This novel is an essential read, not only for women, but also the male population. It illustrates how the current state of affairs within the international sphere replicates modern day phenomena, with violence against women repeatedly being used as a weapon of war. Thus, my interest in gender-based scholarly studies and the international feminist movement is continually growing. Whilst I love to read in my spare time, I also enjoy singing and meeting new people. However, when I am not singing or socialising, I enjoy playing table tennis and badminton with my older brother. Not only this, but I love fashion and keeping up with the latest trends. Whilst I enjoy keeping active, as illustrated by my part-time lifeguarding job throughout secondary school, seeking the greatest bargains in charity shops is something I could not live without. I am easily distracted by stories, both fictional and non-fictional, and I hope I can bring a fresh and compelling perspective to GoStudent! Education: London School of Economics and Political Science I grew up on a farm in the middle of Wales, attending both primary and secondary school in my neighbouring town. After achieving six A*s, one A and one B in my GCSEs, I was very intrigued to discover how A Level education could continue to challenge me. After receiving three As and an A* in my A Levels (the A* being in English literature and language), I decided to go to the London School of Economics and Political Science to study Politics and International Relations. Despite not studying English in university, I have found that the endless essays I was required to produce have undoubtedly contributed to the continuous improvement of my English skills, and my love for English in general. I have completed my first year in university and look forward to returning to see what second year has to offer! Despite currently being in higher education, I am certainly very excited by the prospect of teaching younger children and helping them to discover how English can be fun! Of course, education is about learning and discovering our strengths, and how we can improve in other weaker areas to enable us to be the best possible version of ourselves! However, if we are not enjoying ourselves when learning, this obviously makes education seem less inviting! Thus, I am a passionate advocate of ensuring that education is not only enlightening, but also enjoyable and fun. I often babysit my two younger cousins and I love to read to them all of my favourite books as a child, as well as teach them new and impressive words they can use in school to show off to the class!

I am a researcher with a strong interest in mathematics, data science, AI and programming. I believe these subjects hold a lot of potential for humanity and therefore enjoy teaching them during my spare time. I also like to introduce people who are new to the world of technology how easy it can be to learn and become good at it. I believe that anybody anywhere with a brain and an interest to learn can learn and become good in mathematics, computing, data science and any other field of endeavour as long as they set their minds to it. I want to let you see how easy these subjects can be. I love to work out, take a walk, visit lit places and hang out occasionally with friends. I like the game of chess too.

I am currently a second year physics student at the University of Manchester. At A Level I achieved 3 A*s in Physics, Mathematics, and History, and I also achieved a grade 9 in Physics at GCSE level. My sessions are tailored towards GCSE and A Level Physics students, and are aimed at improving exam performance while also improving the student's understanding of the subject beyond simply memorising equations. I understand that every student's goals are different, and my lessons reflect this - if one method of teaching is not proving effective for a student I am able to adapt my lessons to be structured in a way that resonates with them specifically. My lessons are applicable to every exam board, but I have the most experience with the AQA specification at GCSE level, and the OCR specification at A Level. At A Level, I attained 3 A*s in Physics, Mathematics, and History. At GCSE I achieved a grade 9 in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and English Language. I achieved a grade 8 in Chemistry, Biology, English Literature, and History, and a grade 6 in Spanish. Additionally, I accomplished the highest total score in my sixth form for A Level Physics.

I’m currently a student studying biomedical engineering at university. I have been tutoring for 3 years and enjoy seeing my students progress and improve. I have taught students from primary to secondary schools. Helping students be more confident and improve in their subjects is always very rewarding. I’m a very patient tutor so students can feel comfortable to ask me multiple questions about topics they don’t feel confident in. I change my teaching style accordingly to my student’s preference to ensure they benefit the most of the lesson.
