Hi there! I'm Tami Okono, and I'm excited to be your tutor. I'm currently studying Economics and I'm in my final year at University. I'm 20 years old and I really like the colour green. When I'm not studying, you can usually find me cooking up something tasty or playing table tennis. These subjects provided me with a strong analytical foundation and a deeper understanding of human behavior, which are invaluable assets in the field of economics. Before my time in the UK, I completed my early education through secondary school at Greensprings School in Nigeria, where I developed a passion for learning and a global perspective on education.

I am a Spanish native speaker, English and Spanish teacher who enjoys meeting people and learning about other people's culture. I also speak French and I worked for Alliance Francaise for a couple of years. I have been tutoring and preparing students for their GCSE's for three years, I am currently tutoring ESL (English as a second language) and French GCSE's as well. My oldest student started when she was in year 9 and she has improved her marks in Spanish consistently I also have experience teaching children online. I am fond of walking in the nature, spending time outdoors when possible and watching TV series. Struggling to focus on studying? Struggling on accomplishing homework? I might be of a great help. I have learned and taught several subjects during the pandemic in order to help the learners around my community to obtain learning despite the situation. I have dealt with diverse learners and it made become an enthusiast to those who are struggling to learn. I can directly assess what their learning needs are, and that is how I personalize my teaching materials. I am very passionate at teaching because I love the way I impart my knowledge to my learners, especially when I get the chance to learn from them as well. As of this moment, I am currently taking my master’s education which is English Language Teaching. Throughout those years, I believe I have gained skills and experiences relevant to teaching.
