Hi! I’m Kai, a fairly easy-going guy from London and I have been tutoring for just over 5 years and love every minute of it! I am here to help you ace your exams and provide that 'lightbulb' moment! Whichever way you learn best I will tailor my lessons to you. I tend to use many different resources depending on what suits your learning style, for example I usually incorporate diagrams and flowcharts to visualise some of the tricker concepts. I know when I was a student, having a tutor was a huge benefit to me as I was able to understand concepts from a different point of view. Away from tutoring, I am also a huge fan of football (Real Madrid of course!) and Athletics, mostly 100m and 200m sprinting and I previously represented both my County and Athletics Club several times at regional level. Hi, I’m Ernan! With over 20 years of math tutoring experience and a Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics, I specialize in helping students at the GCSE and A-level. I have always been curious and love solving problems, which led me to study biochemistry at university before moving into software development. I enjoy challenges, whether it’s in science, coding, or everyday life, and I find it really rewarding to figure things out. During lockdown, I even taught myself how to solve a Rubik’s Cube, which was a fun way to test my patience and problem-solving skills. Beyond work, I love learning new things through reading and watching documentaries. Exploring different cultures is also something I’m really passionate about—I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing different ways of life. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I enjoy helping others grow and develop their own skills. With a curious mind and a love for challenges, I’m always excited to take on new opportunities and share my knowledge with others. I attended Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls, where I completed my GCSEs and A-levels. After that, I pursued my passion for science by studying biochemistry at the University of Warwick. I dedicated myself to my studies and graduated with an upper second-class degree.
