I currently attend the University of Southampton, studying LLB law.I obtained a grade 9 in my German gcse , grade 9 in English literature gcse and a grade 8 in English language gcse.For my alevels I achieved an A in German , and Bs in both English language and literature however I was utterly close to As , only one mark off in English Language and around 5 in English literature.I have tutored before and have obtained a TEFL.

Hi! My name is Fatima and I’m a passionate and experienced tutor specialising in Science, Maths, and English for KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students. I’m currently a final year university student, and outside of academics, I enjoy reading fiction, especially classic literature and psychological thrillers. I also love creative writing and exploring different ways to explain complex ideas in simple terms, which is one of the reasons I enjoy tutoring. I’d describe myself as being supportive, patient, and curious, and I’m always up for discovering new things or helping others do the same. I am a fully qualified Maths teacher, and have spent the last five years working in schools teaching Maths to students aged 11-18. I have spent the last two years as Assistant Curriculum Leader for Maths at a secondary school / sixth form in East London. Before teaching, I studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford, from which I graduated in 2019. I have experience tutoring Maths at KS3, GCSE and A-Level, and tutoring Economics at GCSE and A-Level. Furthermore, I am experienced in working with both high and low attaining students, with SEND students, and with those students that require special adjustments. I have experience tutoring across all exam boards, but with particular experience with Edexcel. I have extensive experience helping students in science, ranging from secondary education to university level. I have successfully assisted students in achieving higher grades in GCSEs, A-levels, and university degree projects. With a combined six years of teaching and tutoring experience, I am patient and deeply passionate about helping students grasp scientific concepts and improve their academic performance. I hold a PhD in Chemistry and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester, UK. Additionally, I have a BSc in Industrial Chemistry from an overseas institution.
