I'm currently studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) at the University of Leeds, building on my A-levels in Maths, Economics, and History. I’ve always had a passion for understanding how the world works—whether through economic systems, political structures, or philosophical thought. Outside of my academic life, I really enjoy teaching and helping others learn. I often spend time tutoring my 13-year-old brother and younger cousins, which has not only strengthened my communication skills but also deepened my own understanding of the subjects I love. Hi! I'm Favour, I have experience tutoring students who are studying English language and Literature for their GCSE's. As a tutor I aim to breakdown questions & lessons to go along with the students' pace. During lessons I use the students interest to channel their learning & I am patient to ensure they get the most of the time. For example I once used a students' sports interest to breakdown the structure question in the AQA language paper 1 question 3. What I love the most about tutoring (apart from spreading knowledge of course) is getting to know, learn and see students develop.
