I’m Imnan Malik, a motivated 1st year Medical Student with strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. My academic strengths in A-Level Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry (achieved A/A* grades) reflect both my dedication to learning and my ability to explain complex topics clearly. Through my volunteer work as a youth worker and hospital befriender, I’ve developed patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt my approach to different individuals. I’m passionate about tutoring because I enjoy helping others understand challenging concepts, supporting their academic growth, and building their confidence in learning. I began my secondary education in 2018, where I completed 9 GCSEs with top grades (9–7 / A*–A). During my time there, I demonstrated strong academic performance across a wide range of subjects and were actively involved in the school community. Notably, I was elected Student Voice Prime Minister, a role that required people to listen to and represent your peers, lead initiatives to improve the school environment, and market school events. In September 2023, I attended Sixth Form, where I pursued A-levels in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry, and achieved A*AA*. I also hold the position of President of the Medic Society, where I chair meetings, organise keynote speaker events, and collaborate with peers to support aspiring medical students, further honing my organisational and leadership abilities.

Hello, I’m George, a qualified and experienced Science teacher specialising in Biology. I began teaching in a secondary school and sixth form in 2020 and have more than 2000 hours of teaching experience and have taught hundreds of students across KS3, GCSE, and A-level, helping them achieve real progress and confidence in their science studies. My passion for teaching began during a volunteer placement in Ghana in 2016, where I taught English and helped coach local sports teams, seeing first-hand the transformative power of education. I later supported first-year university students as a Peer Assisted Study Leader at the University of Bristol, further developing my skills in guiding students to achieve their potential. I hold a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Bristol and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Secondary Science from the University of Buckingham. Through my university studies, I have not only gained expert science subject knowledge but I also have an excellent understanding of the latest teaching methods to help facilitate learning and, ultimately, help pupils achieve their goals. Beyond the classroom, I have been involved in conservation projects in Sri Lanka and Costa Rica, experiences that have deepened my enthusiasm for Biology and environmental studies — knowledge I bring into my lessons to inspire students. Following this, I attended the University of Bristol, a Russel Group university which is renowned for its world-leading research and academic excellence. Here, I achieved my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. Following this, I began working towards achieving qualified teacher status and took my first post as a teacher of Science at a secondary school in 2020. I attended the university of Buckingham and completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Education with a focus on Science in order to become a qualified teacher. Through my university studies, I have not only gained expert science subject knowledge but I also have an excellent understanding of the latest teaching methods to help facilitate learning and, ultimately, help pupils achieve their goals. Further to this I also have other experience in coaching and mentoring roles. In 2016, I volunteered for 6 weeks in a primary school in Accra, Ghana. My primary role was teaching English to students, but given that I have achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training and level 1 qualified rugby coach, I also helped to introduce organised sport in the school and also coached local men's rugby team, the Dansoman Hurricanes.
