My name is Jillian Rowe, and I am a passionate Mathematics Teacher who finds true joy in teaching. I love teaching because it deeply satisfies me to be part of my students’ success, and it is very rewarding to witness their growth and achievements. I teach Mathematics to learners of any age, and my mission is to make the subject more approachable and less intimidating. I also live by the belief of working hard until I reach success, a mindset I encourage my students to adopt as well. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading inspirational books, singing, jogging, and walking, which keep me motivated and balanced in both life and work. I am currently pursuing my Master of Education, Major in Instructional Leadership, at Pangasinan State University, where I have consistently maintained excellent grades. I previously graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics, at John Paul College, which gave me a solid foundation in teaching and learning. Alongside my formal teaching career, I have extensive experience in tutoring students of different ages, including a 5-year-old, a 13-year-old, and a 17-year-old, in both English and Mathematics. I also have meaningful experience working with students who have special educational needs (SEN), ensuring that I provide inclusive and supportive learning tailored to each learner’s needs.

Hello! I'm Sila, an aspiring Chemistry student studying at University College London :) My main goal as a tutor is to get a firm understanding on my student's weak areas and plan lessons efficiently to help them as much as possible. I am dedicated to help tutees reach their full potential through the way that they learn and thrive the best! I am looking forward to meeting and helping everyone who's willing to boost their chemistry knowledge! I attended Buxton school and finished my GCSE's with grades 9 in Biology and Chemistry, an 8 in physics, and a 7 in maths. I studied my A levels at City of London Academy Southwark and achieved A,A,A in Biology, Chemistry and Business Studies. In my gap year I worked as a tutor teaching remotely and physically. The subjects I taught were Chemistry as well as Biology.

GCSE: English Literature and English Language A-Level: English Literature Exam board exp: AQA, Edexcel, Pearson, WJEC, Junior/Leaving Certificate Experience with: KS2, KS3 Languages: English Experience with special needs/disabilities: Mental stress, dyslexia, anxiety, SEN, ADHD Preferred student age group: years 9-13 About me: I am an English and Creative Writing graduate from South East England! I love reading, writing poetry and short stories in my free time. I also enjoy art and music. I found exams pretty scary in school but managed to get on top of those nerves, leaving me feeling equipped to support students preparing for exams. Tackling revision and getting ready for tests doesn't have to be as scary as it seems - we'll do it together! I aim to support students academically and encourage enjoyment of English as it is a subject I am very passionate about. I have been tutoring for 4 years now- privately since 2021 and for GS since March 2022 and I find it an incredibly rewarding and enjoyable experience. General availability: All weekdays. Mondays+Tuesdays 11am-7pm, Wednesdays-Fridays 5.30pm-8pm Weekends are subject to change on occasion. (Updated termly) During my time with GoStudent I have supported many students since March 2022, with all of my 2023 GCSE students achieving excellent marks ranging from 6-9s in their exams. In 2024 I broadened my experience to both the Irish and Welsh exam boards and my students each accomplished their desired grades with a full sweep of passes in both GCSEs and A-Levels!! This year my students have already shown great improvements and I have continued supporting my long-term students, some of whom I have now been tutoring for 3 years! I am always happy to discuss progress and work on strategy with both parent and student and will adjust to the needs of both accordingly.
